DPD Local to the Continent of Europe.
Whatever you think about technolgy and tracking be assured DPD Tracking system does not work .
They lose your parcel ............ then ask you to prove that ''they'' collected from their own collection point.
They tell you your parcel is in ''Depot'' but they do not have a clue if there is actually a depot and their identification number for said depot is not recognised ........... Fiction? ....but you could not make this up.
You sent to Amsterdam , they finally confirm at ''DEPOT'' .............. yes wait for it ........... parcel scheduled to be delivered tomorrow ''great news'' ............. FICTION ................ @ Depot in CYPRUS!!.................
You have now spent repeated hours of conversation with ''on line chats'' to staff relating to your delivery expected on the 4th January ............. case enquiry running from the 5th January ............. please just acknowledge parcel is lost , just say sorry and we can move on ............... ''BUT ITS AT THE DEPOT'' ...........So finally 18th February you reconcile that all is lost but I have to prove that collection and the recipient has to confirm undelivered ................... so after six weeks of blocking client , ''BLOCKING CLIENT'' .............. FAILURE ON ALL COUNTS...............
GUESS WHAT ........... ''LIKE MAGIC DELIVERED '' ...... I just wish I could ask the parcel of its journey , what story does he have to tell it would make a ''GREAT NOVEL'' ......................... but you know what even DPD could not make this one up!
weeks of hassle , weeks of frustration it's just not worth using DPD they cannot be TRUSTED!
Forget ''on line chats'' they can offer nothing other than ''WE ARE SORRY FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE''
Forget custome claims, we will respond within 24 hrs , eight days later it is you who has to make contact.
There is a real problem with the tracking and I assume they must be using sub contract couriers who cannot communicate with them directly and update once a week.
I think from my recent experience that they would struggle with just about anything ......Q '' please describe your parcel ''.............. parcel as dimensions in contract , weight as contract ................. in BROWN WRAPPING , YOUR PRINTED ADDRESS AND TRACKING ............ you think I jest.
The unbeliveable aspect is actual ''DELIVERY'' ........... the problem ''THEY DO NOT KNOW''!!
