This week, DPD claimed to have come to my home twice to deliver the same parcel. However, on both occasion my security cameras showed that nobody showed up at my house at the time they recorded on their system. I was also at the house and would have heard and seen anyone coming into the drive. They then gave me the option to collect my parcel 5 miles away in Deddington (Oxon). The DPD website showed that the collection point is open on a Saturday until 12.30pm. However it was closed. Another 30 minutes of my life wasted with DPD.

This has to be the worst delivery company in the country, they pretend you aren’t in and leave your parcel with any neighbour and because I complained I am now black listed. Terrible service and am glad I will never use them again

But above this, I always have issues receiving my parcels to my flat but he delivered it today to my landlady in perfect condition and I am just extremely grateful to have not had any delivery issues today so thank you so much Erick!!!

Extremely negative experience with DPD. On April 13, 4 parcels were sent from Ireland to the Netherlands with an expected delivery date of April 18–20. On April 18, an address issue was identified (caused by the system’s automatic suggestion). The sender immediately contacted support to correct the address, and continued to follow up daily. On April 22, we were informed that the request had been forwarded to the relevant team. However, follow-ups continued daily until April 25 (excluding the weekend), and again from April 28. Despite this, no action was taken and the address was never corrected. As a result, the parcels were not delivered and, according to the latest information, are now being returned to Ireland. We contacted support and DPD Ireland by phone, asking to stop the return and offering to collect the parcels ourselves in the Netherlands. These requests were completely ignored. We were also informed that the return may take 4–8 weeks. There will be no one available to receive the parcels in Ireland, as we are no longer located at the original address. The parcels contained all personal belongings, including clothes, shoes, bedding, and essential items. As a result, the recipient was left without basic necessities and had to urgently purchase everything again. Total losses exceeded €260 for delivery, not including additional expenses for replacement items. This situation shows a complete lack of responsibility and disregard for customer requests. The most important question remains unanswered: how this situation will be resolved is unclear. Who will receive the parcels in Ireland — unknown. Who will compensate the delivery cost and additional expenses — also unknown. At this point, it feels like the customer has simply been left alone with this problem. I do not recommend this delivery service.

Possible the worst major courier in the UK. They'll say they missed you and provide a photo with the frame entirely occupied by the box as proof. Then when you go to complain that you were in there's zero acknowledgement of the complaint.

Extremely disappointing experience. I was supposed to send these parcels to Italy, but after spending nearly €200 on customs expenses, the shipment was returned back. I then had to chase them just to get my own boxes returned. Two parcels were supposed to come back together, but only one was delivered while the second went missing. I received confusing updates about relabelling and tracking numbers, then no replies to multiple urgent emails despite explaining I was flying the same day and the missing parcel contained items worth £400. Poor communication, lack of accountability, and unnecessary stress. Very unreliable service.

Driver outright lied about an attempted delivery. I live in a secure block, all they have to do is buzz me or call me, it really doesn't take 10 seconds.. but nope, just took a picture from miles away and cancelled my delivery even though it was my medical equipment which I needed........

Due to be delivered by Mohammed but his conduct is BAD, i received an update to say he missed my delivery and left a photo which was not my block of flats. Although other people find it fine. He made no attempt to contact me. Disgusted and stressed by his conduct. Contacted my retailer who have said they will contact DPD but i am not hopeful they will sort this with out further stress. Why employ incompetent people. Leave your job MO. You are no good and joking Kacky sickly rubbish. DPD please improve

Absolute shambles, avoid DPD at all costs! I was due to have an important delivery today to a business address. I received a message to tell me David (Iwan) would deliver my parcel from the Rhymney (Cardiff) depot between 10.16-11.16. Whilst sitting in the office looking out the window, I witnessed David turn up in his van, drive around the car park, David then took a photo of the office from his driver's window before he drove off. I then received a message to say ‘sorry we missed you. Your driver David won’t be back today, but we’ll be back on Monday with your parcel’. The message also contained a photo of the office, which David had kindly taken from his driver's seat. Having phoned the depot immediately, I was assured that they had spoken to David and had reviewed his tracking and that he would return to deliver the parcel shortly. They also noted that David would call my mobile when he had arrived. I waited in the office all day, missing lunch, and returning home late, but no sight of my promised parcel, David, or the phone call. This is not the first time this has happened; however, I previously gave DPD the benefit of the doubt. Having actually witnessed the poor delivery ethics of the delivery driver today, I will never use DPD again or order any items that are potentially being delivered by them. Please be aware that if you are ordering items and need them for a specific date, do not use DPD.

Posted a parcel of clothes to Switzerland somewhere in the DPD system the contents of the parcel was changed to a Clothes Steamer. My daughter received a large import tax bill on this item. We have complained but the customer service agent is not helpful and is trying to blame me. I suspect that I am talking to an AI bot and not a person. We shall not be using this delivery service again.

I placed an order on Amazon. DPD then delivered my parcel elsewhere, giving a photo of the parcel at some backyard shed. I EVENTUALLY got through to someone who said someone would call me back. That call came back an hour or so later (by which time of course the lazy driver who'd just dumped the parcel down a completely different street/address had gone off. Apparently, the driver was given my number and asked to retrieve the parcel and deliver it to me - OF COURSE HE DIDN'T, he couldn't be bothered to deliver it the first time, so why would he even bother the second time. I phoned today and was advised the driver 'wasn't working today' and the manager suggested I start working for DPD, phone THEIR CLIENT, asking them to raise a complaint with DPD! Astonished! I certainly was, they couldn't contact THEIR OWN CLIENT, who paid them to deliver the parcel, apparently they needed me to do it!

I am very sorry you choose to employ a complete and utter liar!!! Your driver did not miss me, I have CCTV of him getting a parcel out of the van and passing it to me, I then told him this is for a Mr Pearce and not me, he then said he had somebody helping number the parcels and they numbered it wrong, he went back to the van and came back and said I am down as Number 40? how would I know this information if he missed me? I was drop number 38 so more lies. He then went back to van turned to me and said he would need to do a few more drops to clear the van to find my parcel, More lies because he did not and had no intention of coming back Then I get an email to say he has missed me! Would you like to see and hear the CCTV footage of the so called missed delivery?? I don't think so do you because it will prove what a liar Aaron from Exeter depot is!! Complete bull and useless service, if you can't tell the truth or think sensibly on your feet just apologise for you mistake!

DPD failed to deliver a package of frozen meals today. Their driver Russell, was delayed, then went back to the depot in Goole without attempting delivery. Apparently, he's going to try to find Hull again tomorrow, with a box of defrosted mush. Wouldn't recommend this company if they were the only ones left.

This is by far the worst courier service on earth as a whole. I was home. Home! In my living room which is very close to the front door by the way and the idiot did not knock not even once! Just slipped in paper and went away. My question is , why bother? I hy drive all the way to the address without making any effort to deliver the package? Why?! Not the first nor the second time this is happening. Why does companies still use their service to deliver products to clients?

It is a certified robbery by scammers who pretend to be couriers. But they show up, take a quick pic of your home while avoiding CCTV and run away with your property. So the DPD driver gets your goods after you spent your money. Yodel is the same criminal enterprise. Both DPD & Yodel rob Recipients. Tell the company who sold you the missing goods to stop using DPD!

Zero wasn’t an option thats why one star! I had an extremely frustrating experience with DPD’s collection service, and I feel compelled to share it so others are aware. I rescheduled a single pickup three separate times because their drivers repeatedly failed to collect the parcel. Each time, I was told the same thing: that the driver attempted collection but “no one was available” or “there was nothing to collect.” This was simply not true. I was at home waiting every time. I provided very clear instructions, including access codes, detailed directions, and even photos of the address. On top of that, I left a note clearly stating that I was inside and waiting for the collection. Despite all of this, the driver still reported false information. Customer service was equally disappointing. While they were polite and apologetic, their only solution was to ask me to reschedule again and again. On multiple calls, I was promised that the driver would return later the same day—those promises were never fulfilled. It’s incredibly inconvenient and unfair. People stay home, rearrange their schedules, and lose valuable time just to manage a single collection. To be repeatedly let down like this, with no accountability, is unacceptable. In the end, I gave up and asked the buyer to arrange an alternative collection method. I will not be using DPD again. Based on my experience, their collection service is unreliable, poorly managed, and wastes customers’ time.

Terrible service. I ordered a armchair from Marks & Spencer’s not something that can be left with a neighbour as it had to be lifted into my flat. The first attempt they took the chair to the completely wrong address. I didn’t receive the hour window of delivery anyway. Then they sent me a photo of the block of flats they tried to deliver to …. It’s about half a mile away from where I live….. second attempt a week later didn’t even turn up at all. No proper information on the tracking page. So the chair has just been sitting in a warehouse for two days and I’d waited in all day on both days…. absolutely useless. Trying to get hold of them is virtually impossible.
