DPD falsely marked parcel as delivered and signed without my presence – unlawful and unresolved On 24th February 2025, DPD delivered a parcel (Tracking# 15502419023683) and falsely signed my name, claiming I had received it. I was out of the country at the time. No delivery notification was given, and the building requires intercom access, which I did not receive. The 10kg+ parcel was left without permission, and I had no idea it had arrived. After extensive follow-up with DPD, EPS (sender), housing authority, concierge, and police (MPS Crime Ref: 01/7231730/25), no resolution has been achieved. DPD’s action is unlawful and has caused significant inconvenience. I expect accountability, transparency, and compensation.

0 Stars more appropriate. Several occasions in over the last year the driver doesn’t bother even going to the address and if they do, they cover the camera and pretend they tried. Absolutely abysmal. Some people’s livelihood depends on the deliveries arriving when they should. I am now £1000s of pounds out of pocket and I doubt DPD will reimburse me. they used to be my favourite courier, but now I’m NEVER EVER USING DPD AGAIN. AVOID!!

Absolutely awful and no help whatsoever. Parcel of perishable food was apparently delivered to some unknown location, but not to me. DPD said they would ask the driver to retrieve the parcel and deliver it properly, but that this might not happen. I asked if someone would call me to let me know what was happening and the answer was no. The photo of the 'delivered' parcel included absolutely no background - strange that.

Always late deliveries. Redirectioning to locker is introducing additional delays.

DPD Parcel not delivered as the driver couln't be bothered to drive up the lane to our house. Claimed I was out, when I wasn't, and sent a photo from about 200m away from the house. Was told delivery would be done be the end of the day, and the driver even called to confirm this, but instead took the parcel back to the depot. No way to leave negative feed back about the driver - his name is Dziugas working from the Ipswich depot. Will start asking companies which courier company they use, and if it's DPD just nt do business. Happens too often.

Delivery was already delayed by a day then was at home expecting delivery today then got the sorry we missed you text despite no one coming to my door. Have asked for Royal Mail to deal with my deliveries from now on as I'm sick of DPDs incompetent service.

Dpd are a joke of a delivery company and out of choice I would never use them,They were ment to deliver phones yesterday and did not turn up and today they have not turned up in they're so called 1 hour slot, So we rang them.A very rude person took the call and said we just have 2 wait we explained we have had a dear member of our family die this week and that I myself suffer from adhd and the person just said in a rude tone I appreciate this but you just have to wait, They over spoke did not allow myself or mother 2 talk extremely rude no people skills no empathy no manners what a shocking customer service for an established delivery company, We asked for is to be left I'm a safe place and the women said again no it can not be done you now have 2 wait until 6.30pm, We said can you please stop over talking us your being rude for the women 2 call us rude and then she put the phone down on us SHOCKING

DPD are the most inconscistent and unreliable delivery company I have ever dealt with. The issues pertain primarily to their drivers. All to often, the drivers do not even attempt to deliver when they are supposed to. I have littrally been standing outside waiting for my packages and the drivers simply drive straight passed me, shortly after I get the dreaded "sorry we missed you" message (you didnt even get out your van, attempt to knock on my door or ring my doorbell). It doesnt even help specifying a "safe place" or "leave it with a neighbor" as they dont follow the delivery instructions. as per our local co-op, and witnessed by myself, dpd often just drive straight to the co-op and drop all the packages off with no attempt to deliver to the customers. I have reached a point were I will not buy anything from a company that use DPD as their courrier. Completely infuriating.

Dpd worst courier service, I have a ring doorbell, my delivery was between 1pm and 2pm, got a message saying Joseph couldn't deliver parcel as no one was at time to sign for it. Checked doorbell but no ghosts. I sent feedback to them but no reply. They then asked me to pick a new delivery date but from today 7th May until the end of the month they have no slots for delivery. As you have no direct line to talk to someone about your delivery they can do what ever they want without any consequences. They would be better to employ sniffer dogs to track the parcels.

I asked for parcel £23 to be left in garden, gate wedged open in readyness. Instead it was left on busy footpath for all to see. A honest dog walker alerted me. DPD said it was left in porch, we do not have a porch!. The parcel came from Gardeners Dream a eBay shop. I won't be using either of them ever again.. If someone had taken it where would I be. upload photo of proof ? haha it does not work , suprised?

I find DPD an awful courier company! Parcels constantly take an age to arrive and the tracking system just doesn't update! I find parcels do eventually turn up but I really despair when I see a company using DPD to deliver my purchases! If you need something urgently then your are going to be very disappointed if it's being delivered by this truly unprofessional outfit! The 1000's of dirt poor reviews tell you everything you need to know!

ZERO STARS! Appalling company and service. Had to chase my parcel for three days when paid for next day. On final attempt to deliver to locker I was told driver used wrong information so my parcel is stuck and now has to be sent back to sender- ludicrous! Customer service is shocking- pass the book. Told there will be no compensation for their failure- will never use again.

I'm waiting for the second day for delivery to pick up the point. The driver is probably too busy. I have used the chat system; someone from the warehouse facility called me to tell me they would try to chase a driver. In the end, nothing happened.

If I could give zero stars, I would. DPD has been, without exaggeration, the worst delivery service I have ever dealt with — and I’m 66 years old with decades of experience dealing with companies in every sector. This isn’t just poor service. It is a masterclass in how to frustrate, delay, and deflect until the customer gives up. They were tasked with collecting a package from a clearly labelled hospital pharmacy — the address was detailed and specific — yet they failed to find it. Worse still, they didn’t inform me or the sender that they hadn’t managed the collection. I only discovered the failure 24 hours later. What followed was a disgraceful five-hour ordeal of trying to get help via a useless chatbot and a series of circular, dead-end contact links. I was sent round and round with no accountability, no resolution, and no human communication. It was maddening. Eventually, I raised a complaint via PayPal (thankfully, I paid through them) and tracked down a direct email address for someone at DPD. Ironically, my complaint was forwarded right back to the very same person who had been bouncing me around from the beginning — Jodie — who then replied with the kind of cold, templated "apology" that completely misses the point. DPD doesn’t just fail at delivery. They fail at care, communication, accountability, and basic customer service. They have created a system that is deliberately difficult to navigate. It feels designed to discourage complaints and wear customers down. This company should be ashamed of how it operates. I will never use DPD again, and I would strongly advise others to avoid them wherever possible. Although I eventually received a refund, I was not compensated in any way for the time wasted, the mental strain, or the consequences of the delay — which had serious medical implications. A refund does not erase the stress, disruption, and harm caused by their incompetence. Date of experience: 14 April 2025

So bad... from now on I shall be asking Internet sellers who they use as a courier and if it's DPD, I will shop elsewhere, even if it is more expensive. Issues too numerous to mention, they don't deserve to stay in business.
