Today I received a TV , UNFORTUNATELY delivered by DPD. A neighbour behind him monitored him carrying it on its side with one hand and knocked it on a bollard by the gates. Then dropped it on the ground from about 12-18". He then left it I side the door lying on it side up against the wall . On top of this he should not even be working because said he cannot speak our language (his own words). UK Border force will be informed. I have rejected to even open the TV because it had several lights around the back. When lifting it on its upright there was a lot of rattling inside. Therefore I refuse to even open box and Currys CEO messaged. DPD themselves are not even interested . I have advised currys CEO to stop using DPD. I hope replacement is not delivered by the same irresponsible amateur. Drivers own photo at bottom.

Very poor service from DPD. I stayed at home specifically waiting for my delivery, but the driver marked it as a “missed delivery” without actually delivering the parcel. I called customer service and they could give me no explanation, no useful information and no reassurance—just told me to wait until tomorrow. Customers should not have to waste their day waiting at home only for a delivery to be incorrectly marked as missed. Very frustrating and disappointing.

I would give no stars if I could. They “attempted delivery” at the complete wrong location. Hung up on me when I’ve tried to talk to them. They then upgraded me for delivery today Saturday and missed that delivery window and said oh it’s not been scanned so wait and see. I asked what happens if it comes after the delivery window you guys gave me he said then we return it. Absolutely ridiculous. I don’t even know if I will receive my parcel or not anymore.

Lies and lies. Katterina the driver. On Friday 11th I was at home all day for the delivery times I had a text message saying "Sorry we missed you" No way to contact DPD or the driver. I assume by doing this lie they keep their next day delivery stats with the companies that use them but it's all a lie.

Lies and lies. Lovejot the driver. On two separate deliveries I was at home for the delivery times and both times I had a text message saying "Sorry we missed you" No way to contact DPD or the driver. I assume by doing this lie they keep their next day delivery stats with the companies that use them but it's all a lie.

The delivery driver didn't even step onto my driveway, said I wasn't in, took a photo of my car on said driveway. So no I have to wait till Monday from Friday a package I'd paid express delivery on to ensure it arrived before Saturday. And raising this issue with dpd it has been passed off as not their issue because the geolocation of where he took the photo was within 13 metres of my front door. He didn't even step onto my drive to trigger the doorbell camera.

I selected Saturday 5th September for a Dior delivery. Driver Jay didn't even reach my building. He stopped at a walkway in our development, took a photo of it as supposed proof of a delivery attempt, and turned back. The photo he submitted clearly shows the walkway, not my building — proving he never came close to it — yet he falsely recorded "We missed you." DPD rescheduled without my consent to Sunday. Driver Christopher did the same — no ring, no card, false record. On the same day, a separate DPD delivery of frozen cat food was left in direct sunlight outside the wrong building in our 22-building development — it arrived half melted. On the third attempt, the driver finally rang but ignored my intercom request to bring the parcel to my flat, leaving it unattended in the communal hallway. My DPD app profile has my precise location, building photo and flat number. Drivers have all the information they need and simply choose not to use it. I submitted a formal complaint five days ago. No response. This is not a one-off. DPD has been failing to deliver to my address for years — parcels left outside wrong buildings, left unattended in communal areas, one stolen. Every complaint over the app results in the same promise. Nothing ever changes. Royal Mail and InPost deliver to my door without fail every single time. DPD never does.

We were home, but the driver falsely claimed that nobody was there. This is not the first time this has happened. It seems the drivers simply lie about attempting delivery instead of doing their job. Extremely disappointing and unacceptable service.

Twice the driver claimed we were out, once by taking a photo at the end of our long drive then driving off and then the next time just uploading a black screen as he never came at all. Then I changed it to deliver to a drop off point and 5 days later, still nothing. DPD have become the delivery agent to avoid at all costs

Absolutely awful, the driver keeps saying he's missed me after I've waited in all day, then sends a picture of a random house, not even the correct house number never mind the correct property, very disappointing, DPD was once a very reliable company since local drivers have stopped being used it's gone down hill fast.

Delivery driver Richard didn't even knock my door. I was in teh room right next to the front door instead I got a I missed you card thing and now it's being delivered today the app is down it's been in the same place for an hour!! Used the chat got speaking to a vinod explained the situation and my severe anxiety im diagnosed with and said I need to know when it comes so I can be there for it. He completely ignored my queston and just told me my time slot all copy and past can't even speak English. All this for a laptop mind. A refurbished one I need. And on top of it all yesterday was really excited for my parcel and had a full breakdown and cried for 20 mins because i was so furious no warning he came before my time slot so I had no idea he was there. Awful customer service how the hell are they still in service ill never bloody know. If I could give zero stars I can.

I actually don't understand how a company can be so utterly useless. They have one job... deliver packages, so why can't they just deliver packages? Please go bust DPD. You do not deserve to be in business.

Never use DPD, this companies drivers are the worst. Their customer service is shocking. (Typical Delhi call centre) poor English, total ignorant individuals with a complete lack of care. The attached is a photo supposedly showing the parcel.

Parcel No. 1550 5225 032 035 0 Driver (Clarence) photographed my gate but didn't bother ringing the bell Absolutely appalling service from DPD. I was expecting a parcel from The North Face today and was given a delivery window of approximately 6–7pm. I stayed at home specifically to receive it and was even following the driver's progress on the live tracking. The driver, Clarence, eventually marked my parcel as an unsuccessful delivery and uploaded a photograph of my closed gate, claiming delivery had been attempted. There is just one problem: he never rang my bell. Fortunately, I have an electronic entry system that records and photographs anyone who rings my bell and keeps a call log. There is NO record of the DPD driver ringing it. So he was close enough to photograph my gate, but apparently couldn't be bothered to press the bell and actually attempt to deliver my parcel. Now DPD expects me to wait in AGAIN tomorrow. Even worse, I tried to make a formal complaint immediately, only to discover that DPD's chatbot will not allow me to submit one. It simply tells me to come back tomorrow when an agent is available. Apparently I can't even lodge a complaint tonight for them to deal with tomorrow. A photograph of a closed gate is NOT evidence of an attempted delivery when the driver hasn't even rung the customer's bell. DPD needs to investigate this practice. Customers should not be kept waiting at home for deliveries only for a driver to photograph the outside of the property, leave, and record it as an unsuccessful delivery. Extremely poor service.

I have made a space for packages to be placed by my front door which is out of sight from passers by, but not infrequently the deliveries are placed on my door mat in plain sight. It’s really no effort to place my package out of sight.

Shocking service. I placed an order on line and they used DPD to deliver my very large parcel. The parcel was meant to be delivered to my home address. DPD persisted in delivering the parcel to their local pick up shop and then recorded that the shop was closed. When I spoke with DPD they promised to deliver it the next day to my address. Same thing happened for 5 days. I eventually had to speak to the shop and asked if they would call me if DPD tried to deliver the parcel again. Thankfully they agreed. DPD your awful and your customer service department tell lies and give false promises. AVOID THIS COMPANY
