I have never received my packages. The driver’s name is Anish, and he keeps sending messages saying he “missed me at home,” even though I have been home every single time. Apparently, none of my 88 neighbors were home either. The first day they “missed me at home,” I called DPD and told them that if Anish has any problem delivering my package, he should call me the next day. Of course, the only thing I received was another message saying they “missed me.” I called customer service immediately and was told the driver would come back the same day. He never arrived. Yesterday, Anish “missed me at home” again. DPD is a joke, and Anish - if that is even his real name - should be fired.

DPD Chelmsford Depot – Fraudulent Delivery Records This review is posted as a matter of public record and accountability. A DPD Chelmsford driver, identified as Mohammed, falsely marked a time-critical business parcel as “delivery attempted” and uploaded a photograph that was not taken at our address or anywhere near it. The driver did not enter Meadow Lane. No delivery attempt occurred. In our view, knowingly uploading an unrelated image to support a delivery that never happened constitutes fraudulent misrepresentation. This was not an error or mistake — it was a deliberate act to falsely close a job without attempting delivery. This incident forms part of a wider, ongoing pattern at the Chelmsford depot where drivers avoid Meadow Lane entirely and then falsely record failed or attempted deliveries. The road is fully accessible and routinely used by other couriers and large commercial vehicles. There is no legitimate justification. As a direct result, our business has suffered operational disruption and financial loss. We are now formally pursuing legal action and are in active communication with DPD Head Office to ensure that: The Chelmsford depot is held accountable at management level False delivery records are treated as misconduct The driver involved is removed from delivery duties This review is not a complaint — it is a warning. Falsifying delivery records is not a customer service issue; it is a governance and integrity failure. DPD Head Office is aware of this situation. Any further false delivery attempts from Chelmsford will be treated as evidence of systemic misconduct and escalated accordingly. Businesses relying on time-critical deliveries should think very carefully before trusting this depot. Reference 1597 6914 3996 40

Item "delivered" at 14:10 to addressee. This is quite the trick, seeing as I got this notification half an hour before 14:10 when I wasn't even at the property. How the DPD system allows a delivery to be logged in the future blows my mind. The driver also took a photo in front of closed door, but stated the item was handed to someone. Very dense behaviour. Missing item is now being investigated by both DPD and the retailer.

Always awful service when these cowboys are involved. My package was just left in the front garden by 'Steve' even though I was home. He couldn't be bothered to ring the bell, but at least he managed to deliver to the right address this time.

Van driver reversed over my lawn. Reported damage to DPD nearly a month ago and, depending what day it is, they can't see the video, haven't received the video, confirm they watched the video or the video won't download. Was being handled by Allison in SLT escalations, passed to Kyomi who then escalated to (the same) Allison. Maybe now this is public they can watch the video and admit responsibility for the damage caused to my front lawn!

If I could give zero star I would! Paid for then to deliver a parcel, the recipient was home all day they didnt bother trying and took it to a local post office to be collected! Called and tried to explain this to their helpline, person who answered was extremely rude, talked over me and then had the cheek to say they were ending the call because I was 'yelling at them'! Total nonsense as all I said was to not talk over me!!! Terribl service - avoid at all costs!

The worst driver Ali I have seen .I don't want to see dpd on my door again. Driver Ali with pdp van reg HN21 YTU try to deliver my package very unprofessionally. He gave the bell and without waiting to open the door try to runaway. I said to him wait for door open but instead of this he aggressively took the package back in his van without delivered on door.dpd should sack such racist and abusive behaviour people from it's company I don't want to see this person again on my door

I booked a day off work for a delivery. I received the hour timeframe in the morning 10 minutes before the latest it is due I check the tracking to see a "we're sorry we couldn't delivery your package" with a picture of my flat entrance taken from across the street?? No call, no attempt to reach the door and ring the bell. While on hold to customer service for 30 minutes I updated details so they would not mess up again. ie VERY clear details on locations and contact information. When I got through on customer service I was told there is nothing that can be done because the updates I made removes any changes they can make for the same day. I refuse to use DPD for similar reasons in the pass, this time I have found that IKEA uses DPD and will no longer be making any purchases online from them because of the courier they use.

Sent a parcel vis the post office to Israel 30/09/2025 kept an eye on it, but it kept on not being delivered, every time I called I kept on being told that I needed to allow more time. I called again at the end of Nov to be told that it could not be delivered as they could not contact the receiver and the parcel was going to be returned to me but this could take a few weeks. I called again 12th Dec and asked for a email reply as I was starting to get really worried, below is the reply, Hi Team, I hope you are doing well. This is an update regarding Douger's parcel. Our delivery partner informed that the parcel has been abandoned as the holding time period expired and the correct phone number was not provided. Returns from Israel are not yet available, but this is something that we are looking into for the future. I apologise that the parcel was not successfully delivered to the receiver and was abandoned. Should you have any other questions, please let me know. Best regards, Lindsay So in a nutshell despite telling me over and over again that I was getting my parcel back DPD have decided to steal it. Great Service NOT, Will never use them again! Parcel Number 15501687256629

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding my recent and ongoing experience with your company. This complaint is to be escalated to senior management as a matter of urgency. On 9 December, I placed an order with Nike Factory, which was due for delivery on 11 December. I specifically took the day off work to ensure I was available to receive this delivery. Despite being present in my home all day, I received a notification stating that delivery had been attempted and that I was “not at home.” This is categorically false. I have CCTV footage covering the entire day, which clearly shows no delivery attempt was made. I am happy to provide this footage if required. Following your instructions, I arranged to collect the parcel from my local Post Office. Due to work commitments, I attended on 13 December. At the Post Office, my order number could not be located. However, there was a parcel in my name bearing a completely different tracking/order number. Due to the parcel being unusually heavy for a tracksuit, I opened it at the Post Office counter. Inside were approximately 50 children’s books. Nike Factory does not sell such items, which strongly indicates that the parcel was either tampered with or swapped while in transit. This would also explain why no delivery attempt was made at my address in the first place. I have since reported this matter to the police and have a crime reference number confirming that the correct item was never delivered or collected. As a result of this experience: * I have lost a day’s wages * I have not received the item I paid for * I have been caused significant inconvenience and distress * I have completely lost trust in your service Unless this matter is resolved promptly and reasonably, including appropriate compensation, I will have no option but to escalate this further. This will include sharing my experience with the Birmingham Mail and my own social media audience of over one million followers, as well as advising friends and family to avoid using your services. I expect: 1. A full investigation into the failed delivery and suspected parcel interference 2. Written confirmation of the outcome 3. Compensation reflecting the loss, inconvenience, and unacceptable service Please treat this complaint with the seriousness it warrants. I look forward to a swift and satisfactory resolution. Yours faithfully, Sharella Buchanan

I ordered cat litter and cat food from pets at home to be delivered next day and paid the extra for it, because I have had knee surgery and I am crutches I especially rang DPD and asked them to inform the driver to please deliver it to the 3rd floor as it's heavy items and I am unable to climb up or downstairs. I was told by the customer service agent this should not be a problem. I kept track of the delivery using the DPD app and I also used chat to ask to send message to driver to please bring upstairs. At 15:51pm the app informed me that I refused the package because it was damaged , but the driver never rang me, never buzzed my flat, he simply just logged it was damaged and delivery was refused when I never even saw or spoke to him. Also the app stated I was the next delivery for over 1 hour, he made sure to wait till after the customer service number was closed before marking the delivery as refused Even blind person can see that this was done on purpose simply because he did not want to deliver to items upstairs, so he simply damaged the box and claimed I refused it when I most definitely would not have refused it as I have cats and recently had kittens and desperately needed the litter and food. As a customer I feel extremely frustrated and angry because I know there will be no repercussions for this driver's behaviour , the whole courier delivery industry treats it's customers like rubbish but I had hopes that DPD being such large and reputable company would crack down on such devious manoeuvres by drivers to avoid delivering items that are not convenient. I live by myself and due to the knee surgery I am on crutches and have been stuck at home not able to go out do don't he shopping and have to rely on deliveries and so far DPD and Tesco drivers have been atrocious at carrying out the request to delivery to anything other than ground floor. I will contact DPD customer services tomorrow but have no confidence anything will be done and I will just have words to placate me

Yet again my delivery has been delayed because Atif claims he “can’t find the address” — despite every other DPD driver managing just fine. This keeps happening whenever he’s assigned to Abbey Wood. Absolute waste of time and very poor service. DPD need to sort this out.
