If I could give zero stars I would. On several occasions my parcels have been thrown over a gate and left in a driveway and soaked with rain. The driveways not even our drive. A recent parcel did not arrive, I got no notification or tracking option. The company I bought the goods from supplied me with the coordinates of the delivery address……surprise they were not mine. This is a re occurring issue. DPD you are a disgraceful, dishonest useless company.

I had a parcel collection booked well in advance and rearranged my entire day around it. I took a day off work, stayed home all day, and arranged childcare specifically to be available. The driver marked the collection as “attempted” and claimed there was nothing to collect. This was untrue — the parcel had been packed and ready since the previous day. When I contacted customer service, I was told the driver had taken a photo of the communal entrance as proof of attendance, despite the driver never coming to my flat or attempting to collect the parcel. One customer service agent ended the call by stating there was nothing that could be done and told me to “have a nice day,” before disconnecting the call. After further follow-up, another representative apologised and acknowledged that the driver had acted incorrectly. I was then assured the collection would be completed the same day. At 11:30am, the depot confirmed the driver had my phone number and would call on arrival. Despite this, the driver did not turn up — not by 2pm, and not at all — even after several calls. An entire day was wasted due to DPD’s failure to complete a scheduled collection, misleading status updates, and dismissive customer service. This experience showed a complete lack of reliability and accountability.

To DPD driver ‘Major’ .. congrats on your failure to deliver because there was no one in at number 76. Which is no surprise really since we don’t live at 76 we live at 121. As the system clearly showed. You literally drove to within 30 seconds of the house, where I sat waiting. And decided nah I’ll try a random neighbour instead and if they’re not in I’ll drive away. Major, you had one job. And you failed

Repeatedly a driver called Jack is leaving parcels 50 meters away from the house or even on a nearby tennis clubs' driveway. He dumps them wherever he feels fit. As a result I had several parcels gone missing. Today he parked at the end of my driveways and threw a parcel containing a chair into the mud approx 60 meters away from the house. I asked him to please deliver to the house, but he threw the parcel back into his van and drove off. According to DPD they feel sorry that they missed me. What a joke, they did not miss me at all, in fact even spoke to me but driver was too lazy to deliver items properly the property. Absolutely disgusting driver

Awful experience. First parcel delivered to locker and not mine, not even the same city. Second parcel apparently could not deliver to locker for some unknown reason, and third order still sat at dpd for last 4 days with no updates. Will def not be placing anymore orders that involve this company.

Dpd is run by the most incompetent people in the world in my opinion. Vey low standards,and that being nice. You might be lucky and get your delivery,and if that happens,you should play the lottery,because you are the luckiest person in the world.

3 days waiting in with drivers that lie. Wrong pin given was the first excuse for two days even though they were 5 miles away, unable to find address the 3rd time. I even paid £10 for VIP deliver. No sign of that coming back. Useless incompetent outfit that need shutting down

"Fragile Handle With Care (Electric Guitar)" written on the label and in the delivery info. I told the collection driver the same. The box looks like it's been crushed. I really hope that the guitar hasn't been damaged and that DPD haven't cost me my refund.

Dreadful service from DPD yet again, food parcel from Swaledale Butchers delivered to the wrong address, photo taken as proof of delivery didn’t show front door it only showed the ground so no way of knowing where it was, phoned dpd to complain they said they would send the driver back to get it and deliver it to me but of course he never returned, it was a food order of fresh meat which I never did receive, not the first time this has happened they really are pathetic perhaps if they are sent away to and English school they could learn the language and learn how to read property locations etc, just shocking with all the sat nav’s maps online etc they still can’t get it right, I’m now without my food parcel.

Ordered a weekly food delivery from simmer eats, it was delivered to the wrong address supported by a photo DPD took at a door I don’t recognise, the parcel was also accepted by an unfamiliar name. I Contacted DPD who told me to contact simmer eats to open a dispute, simmer eats contacted DPD who are refusing to accept responsibility because they say the delivery has been registered as successful? Absolutely disgusting service DPD!! Even with photographic evidence of the delivery to the wrong door/address you refuse to accept liability. Shame on you.

Absolutely horrible. I have a parcel in the locker for 12 days now. My purchase from Vinted. I chose DPD, and seller placed the parcel in the locker- where no one collected from. With postage fees paid in advance + purchase + buyer protection, DPD did nothing. They offer chat or telephone number only for the parcels already delivered. No tracking update for 12 days. No customer service, no monitored email. Hiding like rats. They used to be good. Not anymore...... A disgrace and a massive dissapointment.

They delivered a parcel tody (Saturday) on time within the hour window that they said they would do - no hanging around and thge driver was so pleasant to deal with - his name was Simran I also had another delivery a few days ago by a different driver name of Charlie both were spot on and so pleasant to deal with So Thank you Dpd

I have never experienced such unprofessional, hostile, and unacceptable service in my life. I received an SMS stating that my parcel was out for delivery. Because of this, I stayed home the entire day and did not go to the office, expecting a delivery or at least a call. Nothing happened. No delivery, no call, no explanation. The following day, I contacted the call centre and spoke to four different agents, all of whom were rude, aggressive, and dismissive. Calls were repeatedly dropped. One agent even swore at me, which is completely unacceptable when dealing with a paying customer. I was told my address was “incorrect,” yet the agent read my address word for word, including my unit number. Another agent claimed a driver took a photo of a “white building,” which means absolutely nothing to me and does not prove an attempted delivery. No one wanted to listen or take accountability. After being promised that my parcel would be delivered on Monday, nothing happened. It only arrived on Tuesday — and when it did, the parcel was OPENED and resealed with sellotape. SHEIN parcels do not arrive like this. To make matters worse, items were missing from inside the parcel. This raises serious concerns about tampering and theft. This company has failed in: • Customer service • Professional conduct • Parcel security • Basic accountability I will never use this courier again and strongly advise others to avoid them. This experience needs to be investigated, and customers deserve far better than this. 1 star is too generous.

DPD sent me a text message saying they were delivering a parcel to me that day. When I checked the tracking, I saw they were delivering to an old address 60 miles from where I now live, so I used their link to arrange redirection, which was confirmed. The driver, however, ignored this and delivered it to the old address anyway, and sent me a photo of it on the doorstep. I contacted DPD's customer service to report this and that I did not not know who the sender was so could not contact them I was told the driver would be able to go back and retrieve it but they also needed to investigate, which would take six days. Ten days later I had heard nothing so contacted them again. This time I had a completely different story; no, they could not investigate until they heard from the sender, which flatly contradicted what I had been told before. They also said the driver could not go back as it was ten days ago, but the only reason for the gap was that they had told me on the day of the delivery that they would investigate and didn't. Having created this whole mess themselves they have now washed their hands of any responsibility and will not help. An utterly useless company who refuse to take any responsibility.

Horrific delivery service. I ordered a hairdryer and received a sandwich maker because of a delivery issue. I demanded a return and they sent a new parcel but the delivery driver didn’t even attempt to deliver it to my reception despite the obvious signage on the door and my note for the safe-place. They took a picture and sent my parcel to a locker an HOUR’S WALK AWAY. Mind you, my address was obviously in S1 and they left it in S5 which is over 2 miles away. I had to pick it up within a couple of days despite the freezing weather, I wasn’t even able to contact them directly because they wouldn’t have done anything helpful. NEVER TRUST DPD OR ROYAL MAIL.

Lately every time I order off amazon and DPD are delivering, I get this message on the day it is meant to be delivered... Parcel No. 1550 2425 229 088 G ''Sorry, there is a delay with your parcel from Amazon Your parcel has been delayed due to an unexpected issue in your area'' Previously I have never had an issue with DPD however in the last couple of months they are not the best.

Appalling customer service, they sent me a picture of my parcel worth ££££ to say it can’t be delivered due to the address being incorrect, yes it was 100% correct on the box in their photo!!! Customer service wouldn’t offer real help, then the next day I couldn’t even get past their chat AI. Not to mention I paid for 9-12 delivery only to be given a 2 pm slot. Dont do business with dpd!!!!!
