Stole my parcel and refuse to answer the phone

I have been waiting at home all day for a scheduled SwapIT delivery, having cancelled a day in the office to ensure I was available. My desk has a clear view of both the front door and the window, and at no point did anyone attempt delivery. Despite this, I received a message stating: “I’m sorry to inform you that your parcel from Greenbridge Technology was refused today, 26th November 2025, because the item for exchange was not ready or required. This means that when the driver attempted to complete the SwapIT delivery, the swap couldn’t happen.” This is simply not true, as no driver attended my property. When I attempted to raise a concern via the DPD app, the process was extremely frustrating. The chatbot repeatedly asked the same questions and never connected me to a team member, despite saying it would do so. There was no clear route to raise feedback or log the issue properly. I then phoned customer services. After 15 ton20 mins in a queue, the adviser rearranged the swap for Friday, she was unable to direct me to any way of formally logging my complaint. She also confirmed that the delivery photo only showed the parcel itself, no door, no property, and I am unable to view this photo in the app. Overall, the experience has been abysmal from start to finish. The process, which should be simple, has proven unnecessarily difficult and completely ineffective. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that steps are taken to improve both delivery accuracy and customer support.

2 deliveries in 2 days. First they couldn't find our property, so the parcel went back to the depot. Had our mobile, but couldn't be bothered to ring us. Today they delivered another parcel to a pharmacy! You couldn't make it up!

These are the real reviews, not the nonsense posted on Trustpilot. Useless company who regularly deliver my parcels to the wrong address. Leaving a photo of the wrong property is pointless. Why do your drivers not even attempt to make contact, either leaving an email stating you are not in, when you are, subsequently delivering to the wrong address, without even ringing the bell. Ah but they leave evidence of delivery- an unrecognisable photo of another property!. Shambolic and should not be in business. After losing a delivery worth several hundred pounds tonight, I will no longer purchase off Amazon or anyone else that uses DPD.

Absolute rubbish service. It was obvious the driver wouldn't get to me on time. The app told me I was number 51 when the driver was on delivery 32 and my driver was 15 mins away. Im no expert but unless he was an Olympic athlete or something that's just not possible. The delivery was finally cancelled after a 2 hour wait. Feel sorry for the companies that use DPD. I wouldn't.

I've only given 1 star because I can't give 0 stars. Utterly, utterly useless. Driver took a photo of my house on 2 of the attempted deliveries (one from either side, and I was in both times!) and on the 3rd attempt, I waited outside during the supposed 1 hour slot, and got an email saying sorry they had missed me. No attempt was made at all! I have now cancelled my order as it is too frustrating to attempt another phone call to their so called customer service department. Avoid this company at all costs!

I’m really disappointed with my delivery experience today. My parcel was due to arrive, and according to the driver, they “pressed the intercom” but I didn’t receive a single call on my phone. Instead of actually trying to contact me properly, the driver simply took a photo of the caller panel and left. No call, nothing. When I reached out to customer service, the support was completely unhelpful. I explained that either the driver didn’t bother or the intercom didn’t work, but either way, what am I supposed to do? Am I expected to stand outside in the cold with my baby tomorrow, waiting around in hopes the driver decides to try again? Why can’t the driver call my mobile number, which they have, like every other delivery company does? This whole experience has been frustrating and avoidable. If DPD expects customers to receive their parcels, the least they can do is ensure drivers properly attempt delivery and customer service offers real solutions instead of shrugging responsibility. I truly hope their process improves.

I waited all day for a DPD collection and when the time came for the collection, it was marked as there is nothing to collect. Despite me being home, no one knocked or rang the bell so I can only assume there was no attempt at collection. This has also happened multi times when getting things delivered. Dpd is too be avoided

My parcel was dropped at a retrieval point on tue nov 18. Dpd didn´t pick it up until sat 22 nov. It is now nov 24 and I still haven´t received it. This is ridiculously long for a parcel from the Netherlands to Belgium.

This has been the most frustrating delivery experience ever. My package was scheduled for Friday, with a 14:00–15:00 slot, and I had to be home for a swap of my printer. I rearranged my whole day for it—only for DPD to completely fail. First, they didn’t show up. Then, I was told the driver was delayed and it would still come that day. By evening, I was told delivery would now happen on Monday. Customer service promised Sunday between 08:00 and 12:00—but once again, no one showed. I canceled my entire Sunday just for nothing. Now they tell me Monday, when I’ve already made plans. This is beyond incompetence. Repeatedly rescheduling, lying about delivery times, and zero accountability—it’s completely unacceptable. DPD has wasted my time, caused me stress, and I will never use them again. Avoid them at all costs if you need your deliveries on time!

Think 1 star is too good for you. Paid for delivery on the 22nd October. Phone wasn’t delivered, driver lied and said no one was in. I was waiting for the delivery in my front bedroom. Having had surgery to my leg, I required the shortest distance to get to door. After giving yourselves 3 different options for delivery and them being turned down by you. I now have the expense of getting a house sitter to accept delivery, while I’m at the hospital. Sorry doesn’t cut it. I’m a 75 year old disabled lady, who has been left with no means of communication, if I have an emergency. I feel vulnerable. I hope your proud of yourselves.

The delivery has not even been attempted. I suddenly received a message claiming that I refused the parcel! The helpline doesn't work, and you cannot speak to anyone using the app, which supposedly 'allows for VIP care'. The automated chat says their records show that a delivery attempt was made and the parcel was refused, and asks me to check the photo of the property where the delivery was attempted. There is NO photo! Absolutely atrocious service.

Apparently they came to deliver my package but was standing at the windows waiting and no one arrived. Then get an email to say sorry they missed me. No one came to my door nor rang the bell. They have a pic sent on their system that shows a white car according to Samsung yet I have two cars parked on my drive of which both are NOT white!. I am fuming as i have been waiting for 2 weeks!

I’ve had the worst experience with this company. I dropped a letter to a local pick up location on Sunday for an international delivery which says within 5 working days delivery and even today it has not been collected from the local shop. I have chased three times and on every call I am told a different story. I have now reprinted my document and sending via FedEx which worked very well in the past.

I want to share my frustration with DPD. They never deliver properly to the address. With my last order, I stayed home the entire day specifically to receive the package, and they never rang the doorbell, never left a note in the mailbox—nothing. I honestly suspect they never even came to the address. They simply left the parcel at a DPD pick-up point. It’s extremely frustrating because I could have chosen delivery to the store for free, but instead I paid an extra €5 for home delivery, and they couldn’t even manage that. Something always goes wrong when it’s DPD. Now I’m having the exact same issue with another order that was supposed to be delivered today—but wasn’t. I just hope I won’t get a notification tomorrow saying that I have to pick it up at a pick-up point.

Driver parked by our gate with house name plainly visible but decided to leave it out in the rain at a neighbours. He was seen by another neighbour to not bother to walk 40 ft to the correct door, he even signed for the parcel himself. Bloody appalling service.no photo up uploaded either.

Unbelievably poor service and utterly pointless customer service. Meant to deliver parcel on Saturday morning which was finally delivered to a locker box (against my instruction) on Monday evening after 8 separate phone calls. Driver went to incorrect address and did not call (twice). Customer services could not contract driver or get depot to contact driver. Customer services gave me incorrect updates and informed me parcel would be delivered to home address but this did not happen and it was finally delivered to a locker box. Once delivered to the locker box it became clear they hadn't sent me a PIN to access the locker. I called customer services who informed me that they could not give me a new PIN number as that had to be obtained from another team who had gone home for the day. I may now get the parcel on Monday having paid for a Saturday 24hour delivery slot.
