I booked a next day service on 17:00 29/08/2026 online. Printed off the label and attached it to the parcel and found a drop off place near me (Co-op store on Balham Hill SW12). Bear in mind this is my first time using the send service via DPD. It was all well and good up until this point. I dropped the parcel off 17:57 on 29/08/2026 - as of right now (Wednesday 02/09/2026 11:45) my parcel is still sat at the Co-op on Balham Hill SW12. A complete and utter joke! My parcel is a birthday gift for my son and was meant to arrive on his birthday 31/08/2026. There is no one you can call or speak to other than stupid bots on a web chat. If you have something important to send stick to Royal Mail, they are a million times better than this nonsense. The web chat are unable to help, they cannot even escalate the case or raise a query as to a missed collection! My parcel is just sat there, alongside over 10 other parcels confirmed to me by the store manager at the Co-op on Balham Hill. He also told me DPD have come to deliver parcels and act time they asked them to take the parcels they make an excuse to say they do not have space in the van! The manager also told me that it's a norm for these parcels to not be collected for days and weeks sometimes! What kind of a nonsense is this. The store has no way of logging this and reporting it and as a result DPD comes at their own leisure to collect the parcels. Initially I was told I missed the Saturday collection time but now via the web chat I have been told DPD does not collect parcels on a weekend or on bank holidays. Last night I went to the Co-op and spoke to the manager and asked him to show me my parcel and it was still there! Tuesday was neither a weekend or a bank holiday so why was it not collected? the manager also confirmed there were over 10 parcels in the same boat just sat there like lemons!! I got through to someone on a web chat but other than apologising they did nit have anything substantial to say. I asked for a solution they were unable to provide one, they also confirmed no driver is assigned to collect the parcels! from the horses mouth lol. Upon hearing all this, bearing in mind my experience and lack of assurance that they will do something about this I asked the advisor to refund me my money so that I may collect my parcel and send it via Royal Mail special delivery. They did not reply to my request, instead said it will be collected today!? how can I believe even believe this as one no driver is assigned for a pick up and two the manager divulged that parcels are not collected for 10 days at a time!! the gentlemen ended the web chat. Where does it leave me - in the same place as I was before! lol I would also like to mention upon making the booking online there was no mention that parcels are not collected on weekends snd bank holidays! that's mis selling right there! once they take your money and do not collect the parcel the customer has no number to call or actually speak to anyone so the customer is left in limbo and at their mercy!!! I was also not given the option for my parcel to be collected from my home which might have ensured it could have reached its destination on time and instead I was only given the option of dropping it off at the drop off location. Which might I add was not some shoddy internet cafe but a Co-op store on a high road! All I can say is its a complete and utter joke! If you need to send a parcel and you want someone reliable choose Royal Mail, as bad as they are they are far better than these cowboys! this was my first experience and last. As of right mow of me writing this review my parcel is still at the Co-op drop off place.

Rubbish, impossible to contact them and when you do they are extremely rude and disrespectful to you. I ordered a bed for my baby daughter ages ago and it's still not been delivered yet I try to get in contact with them and ask about it and they are rude and disrespectful and swear at you down the phone. Do not use this service, it's been 7 days since I phoned and 15 days seen I purchased my daughters bed. Disgraceful.

I had to return 2 pieces of luggage & found it impossible to navigate the dpd site. On going to the depot in Clonshaugh Emily came to my rescue. She was so helpful. She went beyond customer service & support. Without her I would not have been able to complete the return. Many thanks. Emily. You are a treasure.

Fake proof images, Fake delivery updates, Infact the delivery time wasn't fake they were just doing a drive-by and airdropped a fake image of something infuriatingly close to your home instead, Whats the point of the gaslighting of the customers? where does that get you? what sane business has practices like this? Screw DPD

Once again, they did not knock and the door and left with the parcel. Tom simply took a picture of my door and didn't bother to check whether anyone was inside. They have NO customer service, so there is no one you can talk to if something goes wrong, so good luck when you have a problem with them.

Extremely Poor Service DPD has been absolutely terrible. On more than one occasion, they have claimed that my parcel was delivered when nobody came to my house and nothing was delivered. On another occasion, they delivered my item to the wrong address. Trying to contact DPD makes the situation even worse. Their customer service is completely useless, and getting any actual help feels impossible. You are passed around, given generic responses, and left to sort out their mistakes yourself. A delivery company should be able to deliver a parcel to the correct address and provide proper support when something goes wrong. DPD has failed on both counts. Extremely disappointing service. I would not recommend DPD to anyone.

Unprofessional service. DPD handles fragile items like monitors with zero care, tossing the box around without any caution. When I tried to resolve this, the claims department completely dodged responsibility. I highly recommend avoiding this company and choosing an alternative carrier.

If I could give minus zero stars, I would have done that. DPD collected 4 of my parcels on Friday, 21st August, 2026. These parcels were even insured, and now they are telling me they collected only 2 parcels, knowing fully well that the information is not correct. I have read reviews on how your drivers have been stealing parcels and even opening people's parcels without their consent. I will never take this lightly; I will fight it to the finish.

Really poor drivers. Wait in all day and then they say delivery attempted. No delivery was attempted. You can't miss this intercom it's very loud. Then want a fiver to change redelivery date. Where's my fiver for your missed day. If you have a business it won't last long using these cowboys

Their customer service is terrible. 3 out of the 8 parcels I sent arrived damaged, this was a return and the receiver refused to give us a refund as the goods were no longer in a sellable condition. This put us out of pocket for over 800 pounds and despite filling the "damaged parcel" form twice a week ago, I still have not heard back from DPD.

Absolutely the worst delivery service I have ever experienced. I have taken four days off work just to wait for this parcel, and I have repeatedly been told that delivery was attempted when it clearly wasn’t. Today, the driver finally came, rang my bell, and left almost immediately — not even giving me a minute to get to the door. I was at home waiting for the delivery. I called customer service to complain, and instead of actually resolving the issue, I was simply told to wait again until tomorrow. How many more days am I expected to take off work for a delivery? This has been extremely frustrating, inconvenient and completely unacceptable. DPD needs to seriously improve its delivery service and accountability.

inconvenient delivery service DPD gives customers the option to select a safe place and leave clear instructions for where a parcel should be left if nobody is at home. However, in my experience, these instructions are simply ignored. I specifically provide a safe place and explain where the parcel can be left, yet the driver still arrives, does not leave the parcel and then I receive a message saying, “Sorry, we missed you.” What is the point of offering a safe-place option if the drivers do not follow it? This makes DPD extremely inconvenient, especially for people who cannot stay at home all day waiting for a delivery. Other delivery companies manage this much better. DPD really needs to improve the way delivery instructions are communicated to and followed by its drivers.

Ordered an item for next day delivery and paid £9.99 for the privilege. The driver tried to deliver to the wrong address and posted a picture of the wrong house. I needed the product as a present on the day requested. I contacted dpd Washington Tyne and Wear and they said they would get it delivered the same day. This didn’t happen and the system said I should ask the supplier of the goods for a refund it was not the suppliers fault dpd should refund plus compensation. Will not be using again and will be taking further.

Trustpilot reviews Thanks for your review! DPD UK logo DPD UK Your review is pending.Read more David 6 reviews GB Rated 1 out of 5 stars Should Be 0 Stars First time I've used them. To send a monitor, which was boxed in manufacturers original shipping box and packaging and marked 'Fragile.' Monitor was smashed in transit. Worse than that, trying to claim for the damage, which I paid extra on the postage cost for. One finds out that DPD is actually DPD Online, which means there is no contact for email or telephone. Trying to find where to report and claim on their website is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. All my search engine searches sent me to either a Polish or Czech or Croatian website. I finally spoke to a local depot who gave me web address with a bunch of subdirectories that are not listed anywhere (and I searched their website site map). They are certainly not making this easy. I then filled in an online form and added some photos and then nothing. No reference number. No confirmation email. And I've heard nothing since. The next day I wasted some more hours trying to get help through their 'Chat' support. This was 2-hours plus of infuriating AI having no comprehension of anything. I pesisted as I cannot afford not to be paid for this broken monitor, and finally I was told I was now dealing with someone called 'Vaishnavi.' This person asked for my parcel number, name, and email address, which I supplied... and then nothing... I was cut off. This company is absolutely abominable to the point criminality. How can they be so contemptuous towards customers and behave as though they have nothing to answer for. Beyond upsetting and shocking. Please never use them!

Avoid DPD Barking if you have a choice. The service from the Barking depot is a joke, and driver Ashif completely fabricated two "missed delivery" attempts in a row. On Thursday 20th August, three of us were upstairs. My Ring camera caught Ashif knocking softly just once, completely ignoring the clearly visible doorbell, and walking away after a minute to log a fake "missed you" status. On Friday 21st August, I sat directly by the front door for the entire delivery window. Nobody ever showed up, no card was left, yet the tracking claimed I was missed at 16:02. To make it worse, at 17:00 the tracking was updated to claim I "requested" a delay until Monday 24th August. I never made any such request. The Barking depot is letting drivers falsify delivery attempts and fake customer communication just to cover up their delays. Absolutely terrible service.

Driver lied about attempting delivery, customer service impossible to contact. I waited in for my delivery window, driver came to the shops outside my flat, took a picture of the shops and left. What is even the point of that? If I could give 0 stars I would

I placed an order to a product and paid extra to have a faster delivery time with DPD of 1 - 2 days. The package was picked up by them and I was given a delivery day on day 2. Then I received a message telling me they had a problem that they had resolved, so the delivery had been rescheduled to Day 3. I then received a message on the morning of Day 3 giving me a delivery window of 9.30 - 10.30am. At 9.47am I received a further message stating that the delivery had been attempted and had failed, so would be re-scheduled to Day 4. Lies! No delivery was attempted. I contacted DPD, but there is no-one to talk to - just useless AI on the phone and in chat. I contacted the company that sent the package and they could see that there were no delivery co-ordinates or photograph registered, proving that DPD were lying about the failed delivery. I will avoid DPD where possible in future.
