Shockingly bad company, driver said he missed me, no sign of him on video doorbell, almost certainly tried to deliver to wrong house. There is now no way to contact DPD anymore there systems are broken, their drivers are useless, didn’t realise a well known delivery company could get this bad, could not believe how hopeless they are, parcel has now gone to Birmingham hub to be delivered next week, I have a good mind to cancel the order and go elsewhere. DONT EVER USE THESE CLOWNS!!

This used to be the best delivery company in the UK, but the level of customer service has now gone downhill horrendously. Today, the driver pulled up outside of the apartment block, I waited by the buzzer for it to ring, then my phone pings with a notification of "sorry we missed you today". I looked off the balcony and could see the driver sat in his car and then driving off, and after checking the buildings cameras, he didn't even get out of his car. Then, I tried phoning DPD, and you can't do that anymore, it's an automated message giving information about your driver and no option to break out of the menu system to actually speak with someone or make a complaint. So then I tried the app, and it's the same as the phone, an automated bot with no option to make a complaint or speak with a human. I would love to say this is an isolated incident, but it happened on my last delivery with DPD to this location as well.

TRACK 15976904 6717 66Y I sent an urgent parcel just 40 miles away from Blackpool to Bolton, Lancashire by DPD Local Next Day on Thursday 12th March 2026. After checking online tracking today (Monday 16th March) to make sure it has been delivered, I get the notice "Your Parcel is at our Preston West Depot and will be delivered on Tuesday 17th March". DPD are getting worse than The Post Office, Yodel or Evri. For my business they use to be the cream of all delivery Companies, but certainly not anymore as this is not the first time recently this has happened. So far 5 days to deliver a NEXT DAY parcel, that is an awful service experience. Today is Tuesday 17th March 2026. I have checked if my parcel has been delivered and received a notice online that my parcel is subject to further delays. Update: Parcel still not delivered now expected Wednesday 18th March 2026 (NOW 6 Days Late) UPDATE: It is now Friday 20th March 2026, my parcel according to DPD has stopped being tracked at the Preston West Depot on the 17th March, they are now investigating its whereabouts. All communication and replies to my emails to DPD seem to have ceased, no information whatsoever. I am now looking to contact and report this matter to the Police as theft.

tried to deliver while i was out, obviously i couldn't let them in. rather than try to re-deliver or try a neighbour, they took the package to a random locker nowhere near my house, AND told me i had to pick it up the next day. i had another package delivered by amazon 5 minutes later who managed to get a neighbour to buzz them in so i have to assume they didn't even try.

Very very disappointed with DPD.yesterday being mothers day l was expecting a flower delivery from Next via DPD l got a delivery time slot so was tracking it l got to you are next drop then l got parcel refused so either Mario didn't know how to use a sat nav or couldn't be bothered to find address l am easy to find.flowers were a special gift so you can imagine how upsetting this was.

DPD have wrongly ignored my preferred delivery date multiple times with parcels. Today I had enough so tried to find reason why and there drivers have been falsely signing parcels under my name. I will be looking at taking this further and legally. As you have failed to deliver the parcels safely resulting in £1,500 of lost goods. and your driver, sunanda of the Southampton area has been falsely signing off parcels.

Waited outside front door for delivery, as tracked parcel .. driver messaged saying I wasn’t home . No note left as he clearly wasn’t there. 2nd day same thing and left a note at a house on a completely different street. App updated with what3words, map and instructions but he ignoreed it

DPD stated it would deliver today but didn't even bother to update me. Every time you try to track the parcel it just says at delivery depot. Poor service.

I have taken a day off work and have literally been sat near my front door waiting for a delivery between 2-3pm only to recieve a notification saying sorry we missed you. Attached to this was some random photo of some road works that are nowhere near my house. Bottom line is they have not even tried to deliver it. The contents of the parcel is over £200 of perishable goods that need to go in a freezer asap. Im beyond fuming, just blatant lies from the delivery driver and its impossible to contact a human being to talk to. 1 star is being generous but unfortunately i have to give them that.

I insured my parcel as it was going to China. It got as far as Chinese Customs then not surprisingly disappeared. I contacted DPD and was told it could take several months for a delivery in China. When I decided to claim under the insurance I had taken out I was informed because I had waited more than 21 days my claim was nel and void. Obviously no effort was made to get my parcel delivered and the insurance cover was a straightforward scam. I will not allow DPD to set foot on my property from now on. Any attempt at delivery will be refused.

Darren, the driver, lied about not being able to deliver, was 2 min away, but decided he's done for the day and never came. Uploaded a black photo as 'evidence' and stated they left a card. Not true, worst delivery company and I don't understand how they are still in business! Took a day off and patiently waited for my parcel, 80% of the times I have a delivery with DPD it's the same experinece, driver says I was not in. The level of dishonesty is unbelievable and unacceptable. Bot is uselss and not very easy to raise a complaint.

This is my Trustpilot review from today: Absolutely hopeless service from DPD but from one driver in particular, if we see his name our hearts drop! This driver's service is below that of the old Hermes, even Evri is better now. We paid for express delivery for a part for a cooker in our holiday let and needed it today as our guest arrive tomorrow (Saturday). We tracked the driver all afternoon from home but didn't hold out much hope, and sure enough, just what we expected 'sorry our driver missed you' - hopeless! I would like to raise a complaint against this driver (Stuart) for a number of reasons, not just todays missed deliver.

I would give it a 0 if I could I would give it a 0 if I could. Been waiting in all day for my delivery only to get a message saying "Sorry we have missed you". Funnily enough, I have a dog and a doorbell camera and neither of them alerted me to someone being at the door. I also added to the delivery details, that should I not be in (which I was) to leave the parcel with my neighbour (who is an old age pensioner and also in all day) and nobody was at his door either. This is not the first time with DPD and if I could help it I would NEVER use them again.

DPD are disgusting. I was upstairs when they came to deliver something. I shouted out of the window to leave it on the doorstep but she refused so I said that I was coming down. Due to my arthritis I am slow up and down the stairs. When I did get downstairs she had driven off with my parcel. I know about reaching targets but this was despicable.
