If I could give it no stars, I would. Van outside building. Driver never got out the van, drove off after 2 mins. Stated "could not find address". It is a block of flats with the name of the building on the wall in big black/white letters. They lie, lie, lie. Awaiting for delivery 6 days later and will be F*ing going to their depot in Bristol to create hell later today if it is not delivered.

I have been looking forward for my delivery and made sure I am at home to be able to receive it. All of a sudden I received an email that the driver missed it and had a nerve to send me a close picture of the door below. I checked immediately and the door isn't close. Im not sure when that picture was taken. Not even trying to cintact me at all.

I was threatened and verbally abused by one of DPD’s delivery drivers. I reported the incident to DPD immediately, but since then I have been completely stonewalled. What is most alarming is the apparent lack of accountability. From DPD’s response, it seems there are no real consequences for this kind of behaviour. I am left seriously questioning what safety checks, if any, are carried out on their drivers. It is deeply concerning to think that drivers like this are being sent onto private property and into contact with families and children. The matter has now been reported to the local police. For your own safety, avoid this company.

I’m aware that DPD often receives negative publicity, so I’d like to offer a more balanced perspective based on my own experience. My local delivery driver has consistently exceeded expectations, and today was no exception. I was awaiting a delivery of cat food from ZooPlus, and Steven kindly helped me carry the heavy box into the house — they always seem to weigh a ton. His courtesy, care, and excellent customer service reflect extremely well on DPD. If all drivers demonstrated the same professionalism as Steven, I believe many perceptions of the company would be very different. From my experience, DPD is always welcome to deliver to me.

I always have a bad experience with DPD. Either they 'can't find the address' or 'no one at home'. In every case, we have been waiting for the delivery. ready to rush to the door. We completed the info on the DPD app - of no use at all. We are always 'delivery 86' and they are 'currently ar 74'..every time!: DPD are useless and complaining is a waste of time.

South East London (SE5). Today is Friday, 10/4/26. I took the day off work, was in waiting for the parcel all day. Time frame came and gone and app kept saying ‘driver is delayed but will deliver today’. Then the app stopped updating the info. Chat box useless. Two hours later I’ve managed to speak to a person and I am now fuming. Driver simply returned to the depot and I can not pick the parcel up or have it redelivered during the weekend, so I had to rearrange it to Monday. It’s a joke, the lack of communication, appalling customer service, lack of empathy and no respect to busy people. And to top it off the person on the phone said she was raising a complaint with the depot as it was not the first time this specific driver did exactly that and other parcels were affected too. Considering I was 42 on the queue, many other customers were left unimpressed like me. I hate dpd. They are rubbish!

Destroyed my 55 inch monitor which was returned to the sender in the same packaging I received it in , put in a claim with pictures of the box before it was sent and pictures of it at the recipient , said they were going to inspect it at the recipient’s address , did not do so then turned down my claim , after 3 months , this has cost me £750 , they wanted pictures of the packaging before it was sent 😡 I wouldn’t use them again if they were the only shipping from in the uk

Unfortunately, one of the worst courier services I have experienced. It is evident that DPD Local lacks consistency in training and service standards among its drivers. I have been using this service for nearly a year to receive medical prescriptions on a weekly basis, and the experience has been highly inconsistent. Some drivers provide an excellent service — they make the effort to call if the recipient is not at home and ensure that the parcel is delivered on the scheduled day. However, other drivers show a complete lack of care. In some cases, they do not attempt to make contact at all. In others, they call claiming the parcel will be left, only for it not to be delivered as stated. This level of inconsistency is unacceptable, particularly when handling important medical deliveries. A reliable and standardized service should be the minimum expectation. Overall, a very poor experience.

Appalling disgusting drivers. Took a day off work, had my timeslot texted to me. And guess what. Not even a single attempt made to come to my house. Delivered it 3 miles away instead. I cant tell you how much I hate this company. The driver knows who is aswell. Dealing with the most dreadful people on this planet. Nothing works today. Dpd is a complete waste of space.

They used to be good, but now they've gone down in the same sewer as the rest of the courier companies. Lost my parcel and gave conflicting information about it - kept saying it was due for delivery, then it's missing. Then it's due today blah blah blah. And don't get me started on their useless chatbot - live every other courier they're now using these to avoid taking responsibility for their screw-ups and actively trying to stop you contacting them. And their website? Utterly useless - tells you even less than the app. Courier companies desperately need held to account.

Driver didn’t event attempt to deliver but simply “dumped” my parcel at the co-op for me to collect!

Do not use!!! Always tell you a standard chat bot response and tell you they will connect you to a "real" person but they constantly say they are too busy and at 9pm on a Tuesday.

dpd driver never delivered my parcel on the designate day. I was sent a photograph of my front door, without the parcel. His message said left with this neighbour. ? what ! The photo was my house, not a neighbours house. Three adults were in all day waiting for the parcel. There was "no parcel showing on the photo" without a clue about what neighbours location it supposidly had been deivered to. Their "help chat" is a total waste of time, with the complete robot experience. I would not willingly use this company again.

I attended an interview for one of their ODF roles and everything went well. I was happy to move forward, and a follow-up telephone call gave me further confidence that things were progressing positively. Based on that, I was prepared to invest £35,000 in a new vehicle for the role, as reliability is essential. I even went as far as reserving a vehicle in anticipation of starting. Then, out of nowhere, I received an email saying they would not be proceeding. I understand that decisions can change, but the lack of clear communication and the sudden reversal after giving strong indications was extremely disappointing — especially given the level of financial commitment expected from drivers. I usually take reviews with a pinch of salt, but in this case, the negative feedback others have shared seems to reflect a genuine issue with how this process is handled.

their performance is appalling - they often claim to have attempted delivery before leaving parcel at a pickup shop.

They are the biggest bunch of conmen to exist. They put the phone down on you and give you wrong information. Don't use this company of cheats. All positive reviews are false.

When I booked this collection, I clearly provided: • The exact number of parcels (26) • The full dimensions and sizes Based on that, DPD accepted the booking and took payment of approximately £250 for a next day collection and delivery service. On the first collection, the driver arrived and only took 10 parcels, stating he had no space. This is entirely unacceptable given they had full visibility of the volume at the time of booking. I then waited again today, losing a second full working day, only to be told that the remaining parcels will not be collected again.Driver Lied having attempted ! Your online chat service is completely ineffective. After long waiting times, no one is able to provide a clear answer or resolution. There is no coordination, no accountability, and no ownership of this issue. Drivers lie and claim having attended !
