When my package was despatched the DPD tracking page said they would send me a notification giving me a 1 hour delivery window. They didn't. Instead the driver turned up unexpectedly, photographed my front door and took the parcel away again. I was in but didn't manage to get there in time. He left a postcard, and when I used that to check on line it said he would return the following day.
I stayed in, but when I checked the on-line service again the date had been changed to the day after.
I tried the DPD on-line chat service (the most they provide in the way of customer support) but it's an absolute joke. There's no-one on the other end. It just spouts messages at you, none of which are relevant to your complaint.
They clearly hold their customers in total contempt. Still hoping to receive my package but no idea when they will deign to deliver it.
