Yet another example of a tracked parcel still being around a hour and 15 calls from delivery suddenly being replaced by a clearly dishonest claim by the driver that I wasn't at home to receive the parcel. No driver called at my house. DPD clearly make false assurances to companies to get contracts and then, when they find they can't make the promised deliveries (because they hire too few drivers or incompetent drivers), they cancel them and pretend that it was the recipient's fault. Make sure that you complain to the company sending the parcel as, if they get enough complaints, they may change couriers which is the only way DPD will take notice.
