I didn't work this weekend, Saturday 23rd September 2023 due to an expected delivery from dpd. I was eagerly waiting at my window as the parcel I was waiting for was already over a week late due to issues with the product provider. Whilst waiting at my window I received a message claiming that I missed the driver and they would reattempt delivery tomorrow, Sunday 24th September. As you can imagine I was fuming as I took the day off work to receive this parcel and now I would have to take the 24th off too. Their driver tried delivering to the wrong address, that didn't even have the same door number as me. So I left a justifiably bad review on trustpilot and because of this they have refused delivery today, Sunday 24th September also. They will reattempt delivery tomorrow, Monday 25th but no one will be home as I will not be losing more work and wages for their failures. So I don't know when I will finally receive my extremely overdue parcel and honestly, I don't think I've ever had to deal with such unprofessionalism before and from supposedly the 3rd best delivery company in the UK.
