Took the day off work to sign for expensive parcel. got a message saying the driver attempted the delivery This is not the case at all, I have multiple cameras over my house and no one even approached the front steps. But the worst part is DPD's customer support, first I tried the online chat, and that robot it useless and just kept repeating the same thing over and over. Then I tried calling but the automated voice was clearly broken as it gave me every line probably programmed into it without my even giving it any details. "Your parcel is out for delivery, the driver is in your area, there has been difficulties with your delivery". Then when I eventually got through to the overseas call centre by deliberately getting my tacking number wrong. The guy on the phone couldn't answer my questions as they clearly weren't on his script. DPD clearly don't want to getting through to any sort of customer support so they don't have to deal with it. Even asking the AI chat to make a complaint ends up going around in a circle so you never actually get to make the complaint. Delivery will be attempted again tomorrow, but I guarantee the exact same thing will happen. I'll stick to Amazon from now on.
