Appalling customer service. Driver failed to meet delivery slot and day. DPD contacted driver and said he was out of driving hours. They later confirmed he was not out of driving hours - it was a blatant lie. As a carer for my father, I incurred costs of £60 for someone to look after my father so I could stay home the following day to await DPD delivery. Despite requests for some help to cover the additional financial burden, they were not interested. Told me to approach the sender. The sender was in no way at fault, but DPD do not resolve problems caused by their own failings. Do not deal with this company if you have any other alternative. Contacting their CEO will not help, as she is also not interested in helping resolve financial losses caused by DPD.
