An extraordinary level of incompetence!
Day 1: The DPD driver couldn't find my address. Really? Why therefore not ring me?
Parcel returned to the Stoke-on-Trent depot.
Day 2: I ring an 0121 275 0500 and speak to someone who phones Stoke and then confirms the parcel is being held there.
I receive an email confirming and that they are expecting me at Stoke around noon.
I drive 25 miles to Stoke, only to be told that they can't find my parcel!!!
Excuses are offered . . . "It might be out for delivery" . . . I doubt that very much . . .
Tracking etc confirms it's in their depot somewhere.
I drive 25 miles back home, empty handed. It might hopefully turn up on day 3, or 4, or 5 . . . .
