Continue to be the worst. Over the last 1 month of parcels (Kent/London area) I have had the following issues: 1) Delivered to my door but not to me/anyone from my house, no note left saying where it was delivered and apparently signed for in my name. Parcel was never recovered. Wouldn't assist in any way just kept saying the driver was on your street. Lost the parcel and had to endure a lot of admin to get a replacement from sending company. 2) Fitbit delivered - however apparently it was just the label so no actual Fitbit. Again no help whatsoever so had to get Fitbit to take it up with them which they didn't really want to do. Buyer beware any company using DPD as they will be reluctant to resolve. Of course the stories you get from DPD change - parcel lost, parcel delivered to neighbour, parcel not found, parcel damaged etc. After the above two experiences decided to start to use a Drop Off shop thinking that would be better.... 3) 3 x huge parcels (three bits of a baby buggy) due to be delivered yesterday - not delivered to drop off shop (their own drop off shop) because: Reason number 1: Driver couldn't find the drop off shop Reason Number 2: Driver couldn't find all three large parcels in his van so gave up Reason Number 3: there was an issue with the parcels Reason Number 4: there was an issue with the Drop off shop. So now one parcel to be delivered today,. Then I have to go back AGAIN to the drop off shop to pick up the rest at a later date! 4) Active delivery - something went to the drop off shop and hasn't been picked up however they cant confirm what it was and the drop off shop doesn't keep adequate records and cannot find it. Great. Another issue we have had multiple times is notification of delivery on the day - fine - but then a little message towards the end of the day saying Thank you for changing your delivery date (when you have done no such thing). This is quite clearly for the benefit of their quotas to show that they deliver all they promise on the allocated day UNLESS the customer requests a change. Trading Standards should review this as it is false advertising. When you query it they say oh its just that they didn't have time (the drivers are given minutes to deliver things and once they realise they are delayed they just start changing the days for delivery) Not ideal if you are waiting in or taken the day off to take delivery.
