DPD might be able to tell you where the driver and delivery is in relation to your location using GPS technology, which is great in principle, and, text/email you a delivery notification minutes after the drop, but, when they are overloaded with volume (industry parlance for for the amount of packages in the entire system) the whole shebang (not industry parlance) FALLS OVER.
DPD, stop pretending to be like a FedEx or UPS business model, You haven't got the contingencies, infrastructure or technology in place to cope with busy periods like Christmas and this Godforsaken Black Friday. Hopeless.
