The most terrible experience on Earth!
Ordered some things for my holiday from Women’s Secret (Spain) and DPD was the delivering company. Although I’ve placed an order 2 weeks before my holiday which allowed plenty of time to receive it - the parcel has never arrived! They’ve tried to deliver it but the email they’ve sent me stated that the parcel was refused (what?!). So then I decided to collect it from the depot in Enfield (2 days before flying) thinking that this will be the most secure way. And when I arrived there...they said to not even hope to receive it on that day. Why? Because they can’t find it. Sorry, what?
So I’ve explained that I need it urgently and despite of the members of stuff being polite and friendly - nothing has been done further to this matter. At the depot I’ve been told that the parcel got lost or stolen (apparently, as I’ve been told, high value fashion items are normal to get stolen!). Then I had to do very quick shopping on my lunch break so that I’ll have everything for the holiday. After that had to deal with them via emails while being on holiday and been promised that they’ll sort everything out. But after few emails they just stopped replying! Whatsoever! Tried to reach out to them for a week but nothing! Just no reply! So had to call. On the phone I’ve been told that they can’t help me. Great, thanks. And when I called for the second time they said to contact the seller. For the first time after almost a month! Sorted it out with the seller afterwards but this experience with DPD left me totally frustrated and upset. They never apologised and never took any actions about the whole thing.
If you can go for another delivery company - go for it. Cause this can happen to you as well.
