After more than 6 items have been damaged when delivered by DPD recently I will now never buy from a company who uses DPD as their delivery service. They kept me waiting more than 3 hours over the scheduled delivery time today. No warning or courtesy text to let me know either. Customer service took 32 minutes to answer their phone! Then when the item finally arrived, it's completely shattered! The delivery person must have really thrown it around to have shattered a heavy cement pot like that, as it was well packaged by Neptune. Last week my husband's computer hard drive was also completely damaged and had to be sent back because the fan was detached completely by being thrown around in transit again! This must happen frequently because when you call their helpline their getting message is by the CEO of DPD demanding that customers not yell (quite rightly) at their staff! If she actually took the time to improve the quality of service DPD provides instead of lecturing customers they might not have iterate customers in the first place! Avoid this company like the plague!!! Constantly damaging items in transit & turning up late is not a good business model! Looking at the other 1 star reviews DPD should seriously consider new management! AVOID DPD!!!
