I was expecting a delivery yesterday between 3pm and 4pm. I then got a text at 3.20 saying that they had tried to delivery my parcel and no-one was home, and a card was put through my letterbox. In fact, there was someone home and no card had been put though the door. I doubt if they had even tried to deliver the parcel at all. I was then on hold for their customer services for over 1/2 an hour and eventually gave up and emailed them instead. The reply I got was that I should have the DPD App to make tracking my parcel easier!! I rescheduled the delivery for today and asked for it to be left at the back door if no-one was in. Again, I then received a text saying no-one was in and it had been taken back to the depot. Again no card has been left. I am again unable to get hold of customer services by phone, so am awaiting a response by email. The parcel is scheduled again for tomorrow so watch this space!!. Would not recommend DPD so don't know why companies use them.
