Ordered a software update for a job I needed. Got text from DPD saying it would be with me Friday afternoon.....driver could not find my address, I live less than 2 miles from the DPD depot in West London.
Promised delivery before 10.30am Saturday....no delivery they forgot to put it on the van.
Promised delivery before 12 noon Sunday...... parcel not delivered no reason given for non delivery.
Monday my job has been cancelled because I could not gurantee delivery.. Parcel is still at depot and Gear4Music have asked that DPD return and they have issued me with a new one.
It might arrive tomorrow.... I am not holding breath.
Why the bad review? Because people need to be told how bad DPD are and that companies should think before using them.
DPD have cost me this week. DPD do not care I have had poor service from them in the past.
I emailed Sinead Croke head of Customer Experience. I included the parcel number in the title of my email, her first question was 'can you provide me with your parcel number?' Attention to detail is not DPD's strong suit.
I have had bad service from them in the past.I will not deal with businesses who use DPD and I strongly suggest that others follow suit.
