I chose to collect a parcel from a local pickup store. DPD never sent me a QR code for collection. Nevertheless, I went to collect the parcel on the same day it had arrived at the local pickup only to find out that it wasn't there. After trying to reach DPD and their awful customer service and after several emails to the seller we managed to get CCTV footage showing the parcel being stolen by someone who apparently had a QR code for collection and never showed his ID! Neither DPD or the seller assumed responsibility and this issue had to be escalated to PayPal and we even spoke to the police. I lost my parcel, money and most importantly my time! I hope this issue is solved however it's been 3 months since it happened. My advice is to avoid this company.
