One day delivery became nightmare and now DPD says we can't find your item..
Seriously ? this is ridiculous. You pay more money and expect a better service, then this happens.
Day 1 - Ordered item with next day delivery option
Day 2 - Driver lied. Marked as "No one present to collect.". Though I taken off from my work and stayed at home just for this. (I was waiting just outside my door during scheduled time, till my leg hurts). But they are big LIARS.
Day 3 - I lost hope on DPD, their drivers & in their delivery service. So I asked them to deliver it to my nearest collection point. Guessing they cannot say now "No one present". Smart isn't it...? NOPE. They came up with new reason this time - "Your parcel could not be delivered as we don't have the required contact name/number". Seriously ??? You collect and register an item to deliver without person name and contact number ?? And I don't believe this. This is another lie. Because no way their automated call service could identify my parcel without linking my mobile number with it. THEY LIED AGAIN.
Day 4 - Person from DPD customer care asked me to contact sender in order to update the missing info. My sender was shocked and assured me that DPD has every info. But they contacted DPD anyway. Now since I lost every hope.. I decided to visit depot to collect my item. So I called customer care and asked them to schedule a pickup today. Person in the call said "Someone from depot will call me to issue a pickup time". Then I got a call from depot not to issue a pickup time but to inform another shocking news. He said "We couldn't find your item. We don't know where it is exactly at this moment. We will look for it and we will give a call when we find it.". Never heard anything from them again... How could they lose an item from depot? Worst management ever. Don't they know how to organize and keep customers stuff.
Day 5 - Today... I am scratching my head... thinking what to do ?. I am cursing myself for using DPD. Last time, when DPD lost my item, I told myself to not use DPD again. But look what happened. I didn't know my sender uses DPD, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered anything from them. Complete waste of time, money and energy... most of all, they will give you stress....
When they gonna realize customer is the key to their business and they need to keep customer happy? Look at the number of negative reviews pouring here everyday.
Each DPD employee is customer of someone else to.. right? Will they be happy if they receive unacceptable service?
