Ordered a new laptop from HP, they use DPD as their courier. Initially I was happy as it was 24 hour tracked delivery. However, the delivery date kept getting later and later, until eventually 7 days later my parcel was no where to be found. I rang their customer services 4 times, each time they promised that my parcel would be delivered the following day. By the 5th time I called, they actually blamed me and said it was because I apparently requested to delay the parcel by a week (Which I did not). I phoned HP who launched an investigation which led to proof that the parcel had been lost and its whereabouts were unknown. DPD then said they would have to search the depot which they quoted would take a further 5 days, they conducted this and didn't even contact me to say they couldn't find it. HP therefore sent out a new laptop to me. I couldn't believe it when the parcel was delayed yet again. I phoned their customer services to which they promised it would be delivered the following day. I demanded to be put through to the depot manager who stated and I quote "Nothing gets done on a weekend, so we forgot go label up your parcel".
My laptop eventually arrived after 3 weeks. Bare in mind I had paid for 24 hour delivery.
An absolutely dire delivery company with appalling customer service. After losing over £1000 worth of goods and taking 3 weeks for a 24 hour delivery, I will never be using this disgraceful delivery company ever again.
