SHODDY DELIVERY & DEPLORABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE TO BOOT
I recently received a significantly water damaged parcel courtesy of DPD, which was intended as a housewarming gift. The neglectful damage done to the parcel immediately prior to delivery (parcel was sopping wet at the time of delivery) has made it extremely awkward and embarassing for me to gift the item as intended. DPD's self regulating complaints process is farcical and is geared solely at fobbing off genuine complainants despite the fine words set out in their complaints charter. However 'Fine words butter no parsnips!' as the proverb says. Shabby delivery service and laughable customer service is not something for DPD to be proud of.
