I wish I had read the reviews on this company before I booked through them, it would have saved me the headache of now having to contribute one of my own.
Like everyone else, I had a flight booked through DWT that was canceled due to COVID. It's been nine months now and I still have yet to receive my refund.
What angers me the most is that I happen to know that Iceland Air has refunded its passengers for this flight, which means that Dream World Travel is holding my money hostage, and charging me a £35 admin fee for the trouble.
I have been patient and understanding of their 'unprecedented volume of requests', for nine months, but it's simply not a good enough excuse anymore. 16 other airlines and travel agencies, who also faced 'unprecedented volumes of requests', managed to refund me in a reasonable amount of time. Why is Dream World Travel so inept and incapable?
Nothing reveals character like a crisis and I believe DWT have revealed their shameful true colours. They've lost me as a customer, and, after reading all these other reviews, I'm certain I'm not the only one.
