“They cancelled a return flight back at corona (around 3 years ago). 2 days before i had to fly back. Never got refunded, couldn’t get a response (sent to chatbot). They are a fraud company”

“Like pretty much all, I was 'scammed' by this appalling company for thousands! I tried every avenue including filing a claim in The Money Claims Court which by the time it came around, they claimed insolvency.
If you haven't tried to get your money back via your bank/visa etc under Section 75, please check your original email confirmation and if you have the ATOL number and certificate (thankfully I did), please make an immediate claim via the CAA website. If you scroll down, you will see Dreamworld Travel there listed as collapsed. Everything is online. They will ask for all supporting documents, email communication, proof of payment etc. It took me over a year and got nowhere with Dreamworld, nowhere with my Bank or Visa but CAA, despite a fair bit of paperwork, in 6 weeks, I finally got my money back. Please try as long as you have their ATOL number and certificate and it was provided at time of booking.”

“Paid for return flights from London to New Zealand in April 2020 for Dec 2020 flights. The flights were cancelled and we spent 20 months, over 40 emails, and over 30 hours on the phone trying to get our refund before the company went into insolvency. I am very glad that they will never be able to do business again.”
“The most annoying now is that they’ve changed their name from DWT to Edreamtravels, I was scammed of close to £2k, I was issued a fake ticket, immediately I received the ticket, I called the Virgin Airline to confirm it and I was told it’s a fake ticket, I tried reaching them up to now, they refuse to pick my calls. I tried my best getting their reviews before going ahead but so painful I couldn’t get any until after the incident.

“This is absolutely shocking behaviour by Dream world travel company. I've bought a ticket for £500, and something important came up I had to cancel it. I contacted them and they said that you will receive your money back in six weeks but unfortunately it's been 3 years now and my £500 still hasn't been refunded. When j call them they not picking up and straight goes to voice mail a wired voice comes. When I email them they blocked my email.
I'm shocked why the government not brining those people to justice.
I'm having a nightmare with this travel company I cannot get through and I don't know what to do. The government needs to help us and bring those criminals to justice.”

“I was regretting paying for the ticket through DWT. Took me 4 days to get my eticket, luckily I was given my eticket. Should of been Instant eticket in the day, not waiting for a few days then receiving it. But I wasn't convinced after reading so many bad reviews. so I decided to contact the airline direct, they were more helpful then the agency were. Airline confirmed my ticket and also gave me a ticket and receipt from their airline. I have tried to contact DWT on the phone lines, WhatsApp doesn't work, so hard to connect. Or sometimes they won't answer. Only interested if your buying a ticket. Then you'll hear nothing. I had response from DWT on email but so hard to contact them. My advice don't go with this company, gave me a ball ache trying to get the ticket and contact. I'm going to buy a ticket direct from the airline instead next time even if it cost £50-£150 more. Atleast that way I know I haven't been scammed and my money hasn't gone missing. I'm giving 2* rating cause I did get my eticket from dwt but never again. The hassle and stress caused. I wouldnt recommend in my opinion.”
“Avoid this fraudulent company. I paid over a £1000 for a ticket and had to cancel due to I’ll health. I sent e mails and rang Friday till Tuesday. Wednesday my call was answered. I was told i would get a full refund if i provided debit card details. I gave the details they asked me to go onto online banking and click authorise . I refused to click authorise because I realised they were trying to take over £500 from my bank account. I told them I was reporting them for fraud to the bank. They rang me 4 times to say it’s not fraud in order to refund me they need me to click authorise. This company needs reporting . They are conning people. Geena”
“I got same problem like other since i go through those reviews i can tell we're all victims of Dream world travel..I bought tickets since February to travel with my three children, they sent only confirmation booking without e-ticket I was supposed to travel on August, when i chess them to send me my tickets few days before travelling they sent me an email to apologise that they can not issue a tickets for me and they'll refund my money but they didn't say when the refund will be.
And when you try to contact they're not picking up the phone and not replying to Emails..please can we all join together so we can take action to these people.”

“This company are fraud and stole 3000 pounds when they cancelled my tickets! They refunded the money to themselves from the airline! This costed us actually more cause I travelled by mini cub and had to go back by mini cab home very disappointed which is not fair at all they should be prosecuted for what they did, they said they will refund the money but never did I waited since last July as they said the money will be paid back after 8 weeks but nothing has been refunded!”
