On Nov 4 I placed my first ever order with dresslily. I ordered nothing but Christmas clothes except I also ordered an everyday hoodie. I will never order from them again. Their customer service is horrible. I've been chatting with their customer service representative, Mary Wang, for weeks now and I'm no closer to a solution then when I started. In my order, I ordered a hoodie, a sweater, a pair of leggings, 2 dresses, and a long sleeve shirt. So far as of 12/15 I have received the leggings, the hoodie, and the sweater. Let's start with that. The hoodie is a long sleeve tshirt with a hood. It is NOT a hoodie. The sweater is a long sleeve tshirt. The leggings are made out of the same thin see through material that a cheap kids halloween costume from walmart is made out of. As for the 2 Christmas dresses and the other Christmas shirt I ordered, I haven't seen those yet. When I ordered them they were listed as IN STOCK. I contacted their customer service 11/19 out of concern that I saw where only some of my items had shipped. They contacted me back on 11/19 and told me those items were not available. I was told that 1 of the items would be ready to ship 11/28, one 11/26, and the 3rd item would be ready to ship within 1 to 2 business days. On 11/27 I received contact from them that 1 of the dresses and the shirt were no longer available due to high demand. I was given the option of waiting for the items to become available yet again or exchange for other items in their catalog. They said if I chose to wait they would make my shipping priority and the stuff I ordered could possibly go out on 12/01. I wrote them back and said if they stuff would definitely ship on 12/01 I would wait if they would ship it asap to me as it is Christmas attire. I did not hear anything again until 12/13 when I was still showing that they hadn't shipped the last of my order. I contacted them to inquire where my stuff was. I was then told that the 2 dresses shipped 12/05 but the shirt they were unable to ship. The dresses would be here in 10 to 18 days and the shirt I was given the same options again, to be patient and wait or pick something else of equal value from their catalog. On 12/13 I responded back to them explaining everything I have written here today and requested a refund on the shirt. Mary Wang wrote me back 12/14 telling me to be patient. They had taken money from me over a month prior to this, did not send me what I paid them for, and then had the audacity when I asked for a refund to email me and tell me to be patient. I wrote back at this point demanding a refund and they offered me a dresslily credit or a partial refund of $13.59 on a shirt that I paid $16.98 for. The 2 dresses, by the way, were sent in regular ole mail and they lied about expediting the shipping. They are scheduled to be delivered 12/26. I told them I didn't want the clothing if I couldn't get it before Christmas. I spent $82.47 with this company and I have received 3 things that I might could resale for $15.00 total. Dresslily is a con. They're clothing is not as described and when you call them on it and ask for a refund after a month of chatting with them they might offer you a partial refund if you are lucky. Do not buy from these thieves.
