My Experience with driveJohnson’s Amazing
Honestly can’t recommend driveJohnson’s enough. I just passed my test first time this month after doing a 30 hour course with Alex in Milton Keynes. Turned 17 in May 2025 and pretty much jumped straight in, best decision I made.
What makes it even better is it’s not just me. Both my sisters learnt with driveJohnson’s too and guess what – they both passed first time as well. On top of that, I’ve got at least 5 mates who done their lessons with them and yep, all passed first go. That kinda track record speaks for itself really.
Alex was my instructor and he was spot on. Proper patient, explained things in a way that made sense, and never made me feel stupid if I messed something up. He pushed me when I needed it but also kept the lessons chilled so I didn’t stress out. Every lesson I felt like I was learning loads without it being too much all at once.
The 30 hour intensive was perfect for me. At first I thought it sounded a bit full on, but it was actually bang on. We covered everything step by step – roundabouts, dual carriageways, manoeuvres – and by the time test day came round, I felt ready. Alex even gave me loads of little tips that came in handy on the test. Went in a bit nervous but came out smiling with that first time pass.
Booking with driveJohnson’s was dead easy too, no hassle at all. The office team sorted me out quickly, got me in with Alex, and everything just ran smooth from there.
I’ve heard people say learning to drive can be stressful but honestly with these guys it was enjoyable. The lessons flew by, and I actually looked forward to them. The fact so many people I know have passed first time with driveJohnson’s just proves they know exactly what they’re doing.
So yeah, if you’re looking for a driving school that’s reliable, friendly and actually gets results – I’d 100% go with driveJohnson’s. Big thanks to Alex and the whole team, buzzing to finally have that freedom on the road.
