“I could not recommend learning how to drive with Drive Johnson’s enough. Right from the get go the team at the office are so friendly and helpful, ensuring they matched me with the best instructor for my needs. Throughout my whole experience of driving I always felt like I was getting word class customer services from the team. My instructor Peter, was such an incredible instructor and really helped and supported me right up until my test day which I passed first time with Drive Johnson’s. As whole I couldn’t be more happy with the experience I had with drive Johnson’s.”

“I couldn’t recommend driveJohnson’s enough. I found driveJohnson’s through a friend recommendation and with a quick google search I found their number and called. When starting my driving journey I was lucky enough to encounter such a lovely company to help me from start to finish. I was that typical nervous learner but I was so fortunate to have an amazing instructor who was very kind and so patient with me if I did not understand something straight away. I passed my driving test in 11 months after starting and I passed first time. I’m so thankful for my experience and could not be happier! Thank you driveJohnson’s for all your help and support!!!”

“I couldn’t recommend any other company! The office staff go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and comfortable with the whole experience. I never have hesitated to call them, even if it was to ask a “silly” question as they made me feel so welcome and comfortable enough to call up multiple times! My driving lessons were another level, the patience and understanding i have had from my instructor was incredible. They took the lessons at my own pace and did not make me feel judged or unheard within my lessons at all! I had consistent weekly lessons and passed first time! I was previously with 2 other company’s who made my confidence drop massively but as soon as i came to driveJohnsons, the support was excellent!”

“Absolutely shocking company first lesson sat and waited no one turned up called them to ask what was going on so they said they would call me back, 2 hours later still nothing so called them again to be told don’t know why I didn’t get a call back and don’t know where the instructor is. Joke company avail at all cost!!!”

It could have been a better experience. I didn't enjoy the learning process at all. But grateful for having a car for the test but this whole loud phone call, texting thing and listening to elections on youtube loud in urdu language threw me off balance and played with my nerves during my lessons. Peace and quiet is needed during the learning process. I was mostly distracted. His command of English was off..and complex to grasp what he was referring to.. often was antagonised and distracted. I think instructors should be monitored closely with usage of phones and unprofessionalism. Using phones not only is distracting for learners but dangerous for other road users. I was asked if I really wanted to go to the test and asked me to not ruin his reputation as his badge is on the line as he had complaints. P.s. I had to go to his house which was well away from the test centre on my test date which was rather bizarre and unprofessional. I also took note the same demand was not made for his student friend as she had to be picked up at her door for her test date. Also threw a tantrum on my lesson when I did not meet him at the bus station because he needed to wash his car. He forgot that im the paying customer. Shake my head.Car tyre had to be changed during my lesson. Odds were against me to pass with this kind of instructor. With the help of watching conquer driving on youtube, youtube test routes (every day) and sheer determination I passed! I discredited everything he taught me as he mostly used my lessons for phone calls. Seeing Muhammad Noor face when I passed was priceless because he thought I wouldn't pass because "I was too nervous" when in reality he was making me a ball of nerves with his rough demeanor. Also it would be more appropriate to not spit out your nail clippings and ear wax in the car. These things made me uncomfortable. Thank god my examiner put me at ease! It was a very challenging experience but made me stronger. You can use drive Johnson with caution, but make sure you don't get these kind of unprofessional and extremely rude instructors otherwise it will be your worst nightmare and a pass won't be guaranteed as 98% of his students failed. I did not enjoy the process with this instructor. It wore me out! He told me to shoosh when he asked me about my results to which I replied. Very rude. All he cared about is getting more money. I was also coerced to record my voice with a written piece of paper saying he is the best instructor in bedford. Unprofessional, very rude and bad environment to learn. Quite frankly a bully. He forgot who was paying. I was counting down the days for it all to be over. Thank you for the car though!”

“I booked with Johnson's driving school in Milton Keynes. I did start with them, they gave me 2 hours a week.i did ask if i can do more courses a week, and he promise me to. After that, he didn't come for week, he was holiday. And after that 3 weeks didn't get me any slot. And i waste my time and my money with them.”

“I had a medical emergency with my daughter and gave my instructor 1:15 minutes advance notice of having to go to A&E. She was annoyed I had to go to A&E with my daughter and insisted on rescheduling for the same day whilst I would be at A&E and insisted the cancellation policy is 24 hours - no further option. I raised a complaint with DriveJohnsons with proof of A&E calls and Uber receipt but they refused to help further as its at the discretion of driving instructor. I lost £64 for a situation I couldn't control - no compassion whatsoever. Be careful with what you do here esp. if you are booked with Hatifa!”

“Appalling experience with driving instructor NAILA MANSOOR. Driving instructor to empty your pockets on lessons with no taught content. The instructor uses her phone during lessons, turns up late and doesn’t actually teach you anything; she wants to make a profit. I was not taught to complete cockpit checks, and the handbrake was always left down. How to do an emergency stop, moving away and stopping, safe positioning, mirrors (vision and use), anticipation and planning including MSM and PSL routines, how to use junctions, crossroads and slip roads. How to use rounadabouts safely and confidently as she would just grab the wheel or abruptly press the brake if I was in the wrong lane. I was not taught any of the manoeuvres including reversing and turning the car around. I was supposedly taught a parallel park but she lost temper after two attempts saying to leave this for another day. I could go on about the beyond poor experience. Customer service initially responded to my complaint but then allow Naila to make inadequate excuses which just proves I will not be the last pupil to suffer from poor experience and be out of pocket. “Helping pupils to learn to drive safely and pass fast is our speciality” clearly not. Avoid at all costs.”

“I had been taking lessons from drive Johnson winchester since last 3-4 months in automatic car. I took around 12 hours lesson. My instructor name is Juraj. As I have 5 years of driving experience from India, I can drive any type of car and know the lane discipline very well. Initial review of Juraj for me You just need couple of lessons then you are ready for the test. After 4 lessons, he was like you need 2 more lessons and you are ready for the test and he never let me drive on roundabout. He was keep saying you are great driver. One unusual behaviour I noticed, he always pressurise you a lot and made you think you literally don’t know anything, this makes him not a good instructor. He always talk about other things like running cars values, building.. which is not required at all and divert the mind of learner. At last when I was away 1 week from the booked test date. I forced him and told, I need lessons around roundabout. He started, saying you can learn it very well in 2 lessons However, After completing 2 lessons. He asked me to book 10 more lessons to learn about it. I was ready to take 4 more lessons but he said no you need 10 lessons, cancel your test, I won’t give you my car for test. I needed my license on the given date because my wife is pregnant and wanted to take care her. Please don’t take lessons from him. He will keep pressurising you to take more and more lessons and you won’t learn anything as well.”

“Fantastic experience!!!!! My first instructor with driveJohnsons was good, however, I preferred to learn with a male instructor. I asked the office to change and both the office and my old instructor were absolutely cool with my changing to a male instructor. I went on to pass first time with 2 minor faults so I was well chuffed. Big shout out to Rachel my first instructor and John my second instructor - both helped me massively.”
