Where else can you sit in one continent and watch birds migtate to another? The absolute highlight for me was watching migrating raptors and storks cross the Stait of Gibraltor. We birded in many different habitats, saw a profusion of wildflowers, many beautiful cliffside white cities, and shared a wide variety of tapas at mealtimes. Wine was pretty darn good, too! Great experience.
