“Eagle Eye did a satisfactory job. Planning was effective and information provided to prepare participants was good. The cost was reasonable. They could do a better job of training their guides. It is uncertain if they had obtained the necessary permits for their operations in a Canadian National Park, leaving the participants in limbo for a short time. We don't plan to use Eagle Eye again for two reasons: One, it may not offer tours that are intended for birders like us. Two, there were a number questions about safety, organization on the tour, and inclusion.”

“I have been on two Eagle-Eye Tours and they strive for excellence. My first tour, Quebec Birds and Whales, was well planned with outstanding staff. The evening dinners were in good restaurants and demonstrated local cuisine. The birds and whales were abundant and everything went smoothly. however, the true test of a company is when things go wrong. My second tour was the Churchill and Southern Manitoba experience. This tour was not showing the same level of planning (lunch spots with basic guest needs and restaurants being closed and or only serving pub style food). I contacted EE directly about my concerns and they were responsive and appreciative of the information. Things quickly improved. The big problem ended up being confusion regarding our flight to Churchill for the highlight of the tour. We missed the flight and the tour had an abrupt end. Eagle Eye looked after the extra costs of our return flights home (as they were last minute bookings) and returned expeditiously the portion of the tour missed. They communicated well with me and my travel companion (mother) and were deeply affected by this blunder. This flight error was missed by the tour manager and the guide. If a company can be measured by how they deal with problems, Eagle-Eye met and exceeded our expectations in remedying this problem. I have faith in Eagle-Eye tours and I am going on my third trip with them to the High Arctic weeks after the Churchill fiasco. The strongest feature of Eagle-Eye Tours is their staff and their desire to provide outstanding birding tours.”

The vans, hotels and restaurants were very good and the variety of birds, animals and habitats were excellent. The tour guides they hired, Rick Szabo and Tim Arthur, worked well together and were excellent!”
