We knew day by day in advance what we were going to do -- but on a day when it was the consensus of the group to do something other than planned, the guides were very accommodating. “Eagle eye is easy to work with. I did find it a bit surprising to be put at the quelitales hotel. No heat or hot water was really hard. I also really wished for more food choices since we stayed three nights in three of the hotels. Also our lunch spots were great for viewing birds but my husband and I were experiencing travelers diarrhea during the second half of the trip. I’m not sure if this could have been avoided except for maybe driving longer to more foreigner friendly hotels.”

Your guides have also let us know about this, and we are communicating with the hotel's management in an effort to have this rectified. We appreciate your feedback, as it allows us to make these recommendations as well as allows us to improve the quality of our tours every year!
We’ll also review the dietary options for future trips and look into more satisfying alternatives. Health and safety are important to us, and we’ll take your note about travel distances, menu offerings, and hotel selection into account when planning and modifying our itineraries.
