I bought the Deering Goodtime Carolina King 5 string banjo and had it delivered. Delivery was flawless and the banjo played in tune right out of the box. I got great advice on the phone from Rachel to help me decide between two Deering banjos. I already own a Deering Goodtime open back 5 string so knew what to expect regarding playability. With the patented Deering tone ring fitted to the resonator, this banjo sounds fabulous, clear and precise. I think the Carolina King is fantastic value for money.
