I have been playing guitar for years, lots of slide. Unfortunately a year or so ago I developed Dupuytren's contracture on my fretting hand - a problem which affects the fingers causing them to claw. I had an operation to rectify this, but it was not completely successful, resulting in my pinky continuing to be bent.
I found it difficult to use my regular slides, but found this rotatable brass 1/2 slide which allows my pinky to fit..
