Mike B.
On or about December 31, 2019 I signed up for their website builder platform to build a Real Estate Agent website. I spoke with Chris Tenerowicz. He talked to me about the website platform and how easy it would be to set up and use for my Real Estate business. After talking with Chris several times on the phone and via email, I decided to purchase a 1 year service with their company to build and maintain my real estate website. I decided to buy the 1 year plan due to Chris telling me about the differences in pricing from their month to month plan and their annual contract which would save me a lot of money. Based on that conversation, I decided to do the 1 year contract with them. At no point in any of these conversations or emails I was I informed of a no refund policy. After paying and getting access to their site, I noticed that over a 2 day period that I had to redo things several times on their website such as inputting data over and over again, redoing reviews etc multiple times since it would not save any of the information for these web pages I created on their platform. I contacted customer service multiple times and had negative results with them. Also, when I tried to publish the website, I could not see it live on the internet yet they were telling me it was my error and it was my Internet Service Providers error due to the name servers not being updated. I went to my office which uses Cox Internet and I could not see the website live. I went home and used Century Link Internet and once again I could not see the web site live on the internet. I contacted them again and they said they would look into it. I did not hear back from them so I contacted American Express to start a dispute against this charge. Yesterday, I was informed by American Express that this company told them that they do not have a refund policy and that I was aware of this. That was a lie. They also told American Express that I lied to them about not recognizing their charge on my American Express card. That too is a lie. I have never demined that I charged that amount. I am filing a complaint against them because I have not received any of the services that they agreed to provide to me. To this day I do not have a web site that is functional from them. I have received nothing from them in regards to the $2,332.00 that I have spent with them. They also sent American Express a so called refund policy that makes no sense. I can cancel within 30 days by providing written notice to them (Which I did) but then I forfeit any money I paid to them. That makes no sense at all. I will cancel service yet they get to keep my money? Also, when did I sign or acknowledge their no refund policy? Where is my signature on that? If I knew that was their policy and if it was disclosed to me BEFORE I signed up with them and entered my credit card information, I would have NEVER agreed to pay $2,332.00 to them. Once again, I have never received anything from them what so ever and still to this day do not have any website or service from them. What did I get for my money that I spent? Nothing!
