We placed our order at 6:05 and given a time of 40 minutes.
At 7:18 a phone call from the restaurant let us know that our food was still there. That it had been sitting there for 40 minutes. They suggested I contact EatStreet.
I opted to “chat” with Customer Service and was told if I had an issue with the food I would need to report it.
I find it absolutely ridiculous that I already contacted customer service to complain that we still had not received our food, that our food had been sitting at the restaurant, that the restaurant called to say it didn’t look like anyone was dispatched to pick up our food, and that our food was now undoubtedly cold and soggy.
Again, I was told to report it our food was unsatisfactory. I had asked for a full refund at that point. We did not have our food. We did not want cold, soggy food. I was told to report it again. I was also told it was the restaurant that was to blame. So the restaurant was to blame, but yet they called me to let me know my food was sitting there and had not been picked up. That is ridiculous!
We got cold soggy food finally over an hour later and I filed a complaint and asked for a refund. They offered me a $10 coupon that has to be used in 45-days. I don’t want a coupon- I will never use their service again. I want a Refund for the horrible service. And a $10 coupon doesn’t cover the delivery & service fees.
