I’ve been a loyal eBay customer for over 10 years. I shipped an item as I normally do, using an eBay label, but for some reason, the tracking never updated. As a result, the buyer canceled the order, and I was left with no item and no payment.
Now, over a month later, the tracking finally shows the item was delivered — but it's too late. When I contacted eBay support, I was told it was somehow my fault, even though the item was shipped on time. Clearly, this was an issue with the tracking system, not with me.
To make matters worse, I was advised to contact the buyer directly and send them a PayPal invoice. That’s completely unreasonable. I paid for the label through eBay, followed the process, and now I’m expected to chase the buyer down to recover my loss?
