Someone purchased an item that I had already sold over a year ago and I guess I never removed from EBay. I start getting messages from EBay but assumed it was a scammer as I hadn't used EBay for over a year. I start getting daily phone calls from EBay about a bill. Finally I answered a phone call and spoke to someone and I finally figured out what happened. EBay wanted me to pay them $17.40 for not taking down my ad. I said Id think about it. That's when a daily phone call would come from a phone number that said 'EBAY', and it would ring and then hang up when I answered. It worked because I finally paid the $17.40 just to stop the harassment. Not very professional on EBay's part.
