Would give no stars if I could: Ebay are absolute crooks.
Ebay's promise to resolve matters, like their "money back guarantee", are both utterly meaningless. I made the mistake of starting to use them again, which they rewarded by stealing another £50 of mine, forcing me to issue proceedings for its recovery.
By contrast, what a joy to deal with Amazon. Whenever - rarely - an issue arise, returns and refunds are immediate.
