I moved into my flat in December 2021. My first bill came through in January 2022 without issue (other than to extraordinarily high price). But I haven't received any bills since then. Bills have started to arrive for the previous tennant - I am not sure what is going on. I have tried emailing and phoning ecotricity but can't get through. The phone line is always busy (I've been on hold for so long I doubt they intend to answer) or I get a message saying the offices are closed!! Why would you offices be closed in the middle of a workday? Sending an email into the void is pointless - I have not once heard back yet I've sent many. I will be writing an official complaint and contacting the ombudsmen if this doesn't get fixed within 14 days. It's stressing me out to think bailiffs could show up because of an admin error on Ecotricity's part!!!
I won't bother to mention the extortionate price of their energy. Just know that it's extortionate.
