EDF did not bill us for over 11 months and then sent us a bill for over £8000 which they took straight from our account causing a massive overdraft. Went to ombudsman but nothing they could do.
It took 3 different appointments to fit a smart meter over a number of months, now I've just had £2000 added to a monthly bill as smart meter hasn't been sending readings for last 7 months.
Customer service never says sorry or acknowledges any problem. They just act like all this is completely normal behaviour. Dealing with EDF has left me feeling quite desperate and trapped in a recurring nightmare.
We are a charity and they couldn't care less if their actions close us down. Very very sad
