For the money, it was the best choice for my particular job. It drilled a very smooth 4-1/2” hole through a cinder block wall. As we were about to punch through, the core bit seized! The shank on the arbor broke. This saved my drill and probably my arm from being broken, so kudos for design. The core bit itself is light weight, but it isn’t welded at the top. It seems to be press fitted. It did work, but how???
Anyway, it drilled a nice hole. Think safety.
