The 2.5" drill bit worked great but the ⅜" shank to ½" adapter bent. I suspect the latter occurred more due to user error and circumstances than poor quality. Used it to cut through an 8" thick paver block/wall for drainage. But, location was in a corner near the ground, making precise drilling head on a challenge. The deeper the bit went into the brick the more often it got stuck leading to the adapter bending. Ultimately did the trick after repeatedly bending the adapter back into more of a straight line.
