Pretty solid 2 piece bases. It is a bit thick though for my liking. I had gone this way because I needed picatinny and the one piece mount I had was a weaver single slot front and 2 slot rear and had minimal adjustment. My new scope came with picatinny rings that interlock into the picatinny, so I had to find something different. I do wish there was an option to get one that wasn't 1/4" thick though.
