Appalling conduct. Supplied a faulty hob, dlivered Sept 2020, fitted 04 March this year. Not fully functional - timer does not work. I exercised my statuatory right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to request repair or replacement without cost, as fault was found within 6 months of purchase.
The comany tried vainly to evade their statutory obligation on the basis that the claim was outside their "30 day return policy". This is not a valid opt-out and isillegal as it contravenes the above Act. Presumeably, they are used to gettingaway with such excuses.
I have now sent them a statutory letter exercising my statutory right to a full refund. They do not appear to grasp that they have no option.
