“Completely misled and let down by the paid for extra cost delivery. The only reason I chose this company over Currys was the next day delivery promise for the same Hotpoint Dishwasher. Not only did they not deliver on Friday as paid for expected they will not deliver until Monday! We had many people staying for a celebration and no Dishwasher so we had to miss some of the celebration washing up! No response from their customer services and the appliance was with their distribution on Thursday so it's not an out of stock issue. Zero responses from them avoid like the plague and use Currys we will not make this mistake again not will our guests buy from these con merchants again.”
“Ordered an electric cooker and paid for 'named delivery date'. They failed to deliver on agreed date. Had to pay for electrician twice.
They have ignored emails requesting a refund.”
“Unfortunately Electrical Discount and the delivery firm are different. The delivery firm kept saying that they would phone me back but never did. They came to the wrong place in my town and left without contacting me. So another delivery time had to be made, in the meantime the food I had was going off. Neither firms offered compensation, one blamed the other. The delivery men just wanted to get going but I insisted to look at the fridge freezer before they left. I had to put my handles on which are loose because the screws were too long.”

“First and definitely the last time I will ever use this company. Waited all day for a delivery however nothing arrived, not even a phone call or email telling me it's not arriving. Next day, I decided to call customer services and all they could do is apologise as there was glitch on their system, it's not in stock but will be soon, blah blah blah. Seriously, what a waste of time. Now I need to wait either 3-5 days for a refund or another 7 days for delivery of item. I would stay clear away from this organisation, even as good will they could have offered a small discount or something other than "I am sorry". Had I not called today, they certainly would not have called me.”
“Appalling conduct. Supplied a faulty hob, dlivered Sept 2020, fitted 04 March this year. Not fully functional - timer does not work. I exercised my statuatory right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to request repair or replacement without cost, as fault was found within 6 months of purchase.
The comany tried vainly to evade their statutory obligation on the basis that the claim was outside their "30 day return policy". This is not a valid opt-out and isillegal as it contravenes the above Act. Presumeably, they are used to gettingaway with such excuses.
I have now sent them a statutory letter exercising my statutory right to a full refund. They do not appear to grasp that they have no option.”

I have contacted this company via Amazon where I bought this Samsung fridge. I told them that my fridge doesn't work as it's still in the warranty. They told me to contact Samsung. This is not customer service! I have to throw away shopping that has cost me at least £100 ! Samsung doesn't answer the phone and Electrical Discount UK sit on their fence. I can't believe these believe these people are allowed to sell without honouring the warranty! Amazon should take this into account! I am very angry and I will proceed accordingly.
So NOT recommended! Stay away!”
