We booked a holiday package and was devastated to receive a cancellation invoice from them. I called them to question this, they said my balance wasn't paid on time. This call was made half a day after the balance due date. I said I had not received a reminder. Offered to pay in full over the phone there and then but was told I would need to rebook the exact holiday which was nearly 5K more. I declined that offer and lost my deposit. We have previously lost 20k on another emirates holiday package due to covid testing/travel restrictions. In that instance , I asked to reschedule travel but was told no. They issued a cancellation invoice with 100% cancellation charge of 20k. Where is the compassion or flexibility from this so called high end company?
