“We booked a holiday package and was devastated to receive a cancellation invoice from them. I called them to question this, they said my balance wasn't paid on time. This call was made half a day after the balance due date. I said I had not received a reminder. Offered to pay in full over the phone there and then but was told I would need to rebook the exact holiday which was nearly 5K more. I declined that offer and lost my deposit. We have previously lost 20k on another emirates holiday package due to covid testing/travel restrictions. In that instance , I asked to reschedule travel but was told no. They issued a cancellation invoice with 100% cancellation charge of 20k. Where is the compassion or flexibility from this so called high end company?”
“I can't obviously comments on the less positive reviews below but just wanted to share a very positive experience I had with ‘Emirates Holidays (UK)’ booking a vacation to the UAE for later this year.
They organised a very good package at a competitive rate and provided an excellent level of personal service over the phone!
This might be useful info for those that wish to visit Dubai/UAE for a vacation as well and the customer service was excellent. The telephone sales advisor’s knowledge of the UAE was exceptional.
I made my booking over the phone rather than the internet (showing my age!) but did some research via the web first as well. I dealt with Charlotte re the initial booking and she was incredibly helpful! She had so much knowledge both about Dubai and the wider area. I also had some dealings with both Charlotte’s supervisor Nasreen and others in the company such as Anita, Cheryl etc. that were so helpful and supportive!
The staff at Emirates Holidays are so professional and whilst you can book online I would certainly also recommend trying the booking/sales line direct on 020 8972 8958 for a more personal service. I experienced care and support from all levels from Emirates Holidays with nothing too much trouble for them.
Overall I was very impressed with the personal and excellent service from them after much varying service levels from the likes of other major airlines in the past !

“We booked and paid a lot of money for a 5* beach holiday in Mauritius. The hotel is run down and there is barely any beach. The Sunbeds are broken with terrible old ripped thin mattresses. I have backache after 1 day. The buffet was not ready and slow. There is only 1 other restaurant and that has a pricey surcharge. The staff are not trained well and do not know the answers to things about the hotel. No one helps and emirate holidays are ignoring our pleas to change hotels. Terrible after sales service.”

Holiday booked 9 months ago tipped up to the hotel to be told no room at the inn, couldn’t complain no one from Emirates Holidays available, don’t use them, a little cheaper because of their affiliation to Emirates Airlines but customer support in none existent.”

“Tried to contact Emirates Hoildays mid August 2021 as My wife and I was due to fly to Dubai mid September 2021, I was looking to see what options were available to change my holiday as my brother was diagnosed terminally I’ll and I was advised by the Hospice not to go on holiday, spent hours on the phone to no avail and sent countless emails to no avail, sadly my brother passed away early October 2021, I have still sent countless emails and get the odd reply stating sorry for your loss and someone will be in touch, sadly I’m still waiting for someone to be in touch to resolve my issue, Emerates Holidays are nothing short of a Disgrace and have let me down when I was severely under pressure and could have done with changing the dates so We could have had a much needed break when the time was right.
My only option is to take legal advice and take Emerates to task as I an not letting this go after everything I’ve been through.”

“I recently booked a holiday with Emirates and wished I hadn't, they don't respond to E Mails, keep you hanging on the phone for literally hours to book ( had to re-charge my mobile phone contract just to book and they don't call back when they say they are going to. Then they offered my free tickets to the Marharba lounge at DXB which I get free anyway - pitiful as rectification. I would have though that holiday bookings would be a god send to a travel company at the moment and as a result they would treat their customers like Kings, just the opposite I am afraid. Emirates airline is O.K. but don't ever use the Holiday company. We were about to book with an independent but decided to keep in house with Emirates, they were slightly more expensive but have been 4in touch during the booking process more than Emirates have. I should have booked with them and will NEVER use emirates Holidays again.”
“I recently booked an holiday to Dubai through Emirates Holiday. After few weeks I called customer services to amend a booking and to my dismay, I had to wait 1 hour and 16 minutes on the phone before talking to someone. In fairness the agent was very helpful but that didn’t compensate the amount of time I had to wait. On top of that they charged me £35 to amend a name on the booking which, I guess is fair but since I had to wait such a long time to do that, the least they could have done was to waive the charges as an act of contrition.”

The staff there are so professional, friendly and are very well travelled. Booking a holiday when you have no clue which destination will help you meet your budget can be very daunting, but speaking to the staff there made the whole experience so easy and affordable.
