We booked a car hire with this company, but the experience was appalling from start to finish. On arrival, we were collected in a transfer vehicle that was unsafe and overcrowded — no seatbelts, and some of us were forced to sit on each other’s laps. After almost an hour’s journey to the depot, we were told we had to pay an additional €600 for insurance, despite already having opted and paid for the higher level of insurance when booking (especially important to us as we were travelling with children). We were told this extra charge was non-negotiable and non-refundable. The car seat we had paid for was in a terrible, unsafe condition, and the vehicle offered was extremely dirty. The whole process felt unprofessional, unsafe, and dishonest. We refused to accept the car and arranged alternative transport ourselves. On our return to the UK, we raised these serious concerns, but the company has been unresponsive, failed to return our money, and shown a shocking lack of customer service. This company is running a complete scam. I would strongly advise others not to book with them if you want to avoid stress, unsafe vehicles, and losing your money.
