I booked a rental car 3 weeks in advance, then when I called the week before to confirm my reservation, and ask if there was winter tires on my car. I was informed that you had to pay $20 a day extra to have them on your car in the winter time. I wasn't happy about that. Seeing that I was only going to rent the car for 24 hours I was willing to pay the $20. But then I was told that there wasn't a car available for me with winter tires for that date after I reserved it 3 weeks in advance. Needless to say I'm not very happy. And the fact that they don't put winter tires on their vehicles in the winter is ludicrous. I asked the person that I was talking to on the phone, what would happen if I got into an accident because I don't have the proper tires. And that person said accidents happen. I didn't know how to respond to that. Now I have to cancel my doctor's appointment and I'm stuck paying $40 for that cancellation. I think Enterprise needs to rethink their policy on this subject.
