I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the handling of my membership cancellation and refund request. On the 19th of this month, I visited your gym to cancel my membership, which was due for renewal on the 22nd. I informed the desk clerk that I understood and accepted the 30-day cancellation notice for the monthly membership fee, but requested that the annual membership fee for the upcoming year be stopped, as I would no longer be a member of the gym.
Despite my clear instructions, it appears that my request was not properly processed. I have since called your establishment and spoken with a manager, who placed me on hold for an extended period of 52 minutes. Additionally, a friend of mine called on my behalf and was redirected to the manager's voicemail without receiving a response.
I am requesting a full refund of the annual membership fee, as I will not be utilizing your services in the upcoming year. I believe it is only fair that I am not charged for a service I will not be receiving.
I kindly ask for your prompt attention to this matter and a resolution in the form of a refund. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation
