I purchased a mobile sit-stand desk and recieved it about a week ago. So far the desk is good, it seems stable, the wheels work on carpet, I haven't had any issues. It functions well for what I use it for.
However, it was frustrating to put together. The instructions were kind of clear. But the gas lift mechanism made the build difficult. It's supposed to arrive loose, but the instructions weren't clear what this meant, and which way to tighten it and to what extent. When I put the legs on in the exact position they were supposed to (as shown by the pictures on the instructions), they rose automatically without me pressing a button or tightening anything. When I went to tighten the mechanism, it didn't really work. The table became lopsided and I couldn't push the tabletop down, it stayed risen. Eventually I had to fiddle with the mechism so it's only halfway tightened, which is where the table is actually stable and flat. But now I'm afraid to try and move the desk height up and down in case the mechanism is screwed up and I have to spend half an hour adjusting it as minute details. Plus, I had to push down pretty heavily on the desk to get it down, which likely won't work when there are things actually on the desk.
Luckily I don't need to use it as a sit-stand desk, but it would have been nice to be able to do so without concern.
