I am a fusion tech so I cut plastic pipe HDPE with chainsaw.
Always horizontal . More dense than wood so it’s way harder on saw. Stretches chain fast, dulls faster, u need a big saw 60cc for big thick pipe. Always pinching hazards.
I’ve worked at this trade for 11yrs and never had ticket.
My bosses are glad it was only 60$ course.
