Very pleased with my cup!! Double layer does help keep coffee warmer. Bought this as a gift and decided to keep one for myself. Recipient is pleased with their cup as well! I don't rough house my dishes so I don't see this breaking any time soon. This cup feels more sturdy than an almost identical one I just received from Kinto.
