I usually only use Euro Car Parts as a last resort when I desperately ned to get my hands on something and can't wait for an online order to be delivered. Recently I've had issue with my front anti-roll bar drop links due to changing my suspension. The links I needed were not standard to my car but ECP showed some stock availability on adjustable ones. The price was fair and it appeared from the website that I would be able to pick them up when they next opened. I attended the store and was told that they were not present and were on their way from another store, so I had to come back later for them.
Previous occasions I've waited for ages to collect a click & collect order. You'd think they would have a shelf in the warehouse for click & collect and a check-in terminal for when you get there.
Another frustrating occasion, I was collecting an order and there was only one server. Two people ahead of me in the queue, the first wanted to buy all the fluids and filters needed to service his Defender 110 himself but had no idea what he needed, the second guy had ordered the wrong brake pads for his Audi A1 because he couldn't tell if his car had 288mm of 256mm front discs. Neither are ECP's fault but a check-in terminal and a shelf with click & collect orders on them would've prevented me from listening to their tales on ineptitude and not only would I probably use ECP more I’d recommend them and rate them higher.
