I am appalled by the incompetence of the customer service team as I purchased a 28 day long term hire from Europcar at Birmingham airport and I was advised to purchase this hire with the proviso that I could return the car after a couple weeks if needed and then obtain a Pro-Rata refund on the days remaining.
After calling and speaking with the customer service team yesterday to double check that I could bring the car in (yesterday) and obtain refund for the remaining day which they confirmed I could, I was then refused this on arrival with Chris (the person on the desk yesterday) also laughing and telling me that the customer services and the desk team don't have a clue...
After all this arranging pick up, car wash, filling up the car - i now have to do all this again on Friday which is costing further money and more importantly inconvenience.
